Rubber Egg Experiment

Materials Needed:

 raw egg
 empty glass
 vinegar

Procedure:

1. Prepare all the needed materials in this experiment.


2. Put the raw egg in an empty glass.
3. Pour vinegar into the glass until the egg is covered.
4. Let the egg soak overnight.
5. Then, observe. If any foams of bubbles were noticed,
rinse the used vinegar, and add a new vinegar.
6. Wait for 2 to 3 days before the experiment is completed.

Guide Questions. Answer the following questions based on your observations.

1. What have you observed during and after the experiment?


2. What happened to the raw egg when it was submerged to vinegar for a couple of days?
3. What do you think is the science behind the reaction of the raw egg to the solution?
Lemon Chemistry

Materials Needed:

• 2 pcs. of lemon or 5 pcs. of kalamansi


• empty bowl
• 5 tablespoonfuls of baking soda

Procedure:

1. Prepare all the needed materials in this experiment.


2. Squeeze all the juice of citrus fruits and placed it in empty container.
3. Put 5 tablespoonfuls of baking soda in an empty bowl.
4. Add all the citrus juice in a 5 tablespoonfuls of baking soda.
5. Then, observe the reaction between the baking soda and the citrus juice.
