That’s up to you. Whatever makes it easier to say

the prayer on time. But, in general, it’s not healthy
to stay awake till morning every night. Better way
is to sleep early and wake up early.

Sleeping at night is good for health. It is better for

you to wake up at the time of Fajr. If you want to
pray Tahajjud then wake up 1/2 an hour before the
time of Fajr starts.

RelatedHow do you get enough sleep,

despite the Fajr prayer?
Go back to bed.

Take a nap.

I arise at 0430. Shower, feed the cats, empty the

litter box. At that time, salat ul fajr is in. Pray. The
sunnah and fard salawat. Food is optional, coffee
is not.

I'm out the door by 0715. My shifts are 12 hours

and I'm an RN so napping is not an option; I drink
water and tea. I have friends who are single
mothers and get the kids to school, work, cook,
pray, and read the Qur'aan; their schedules make
me faint.

You ask Allaah for help and make your priorities.

The adhan for fajr says it all, “the prayer is better

you should follow islam, tell me what islam says

our Beloved Prophet said in hadees that there is

no business after isha…

means pray isha eat your dinner and sleep

another hadees says, Allah has kept barakah for

this ummah in daytime,

means person should seek his sustainance in

daytime which he will find with lots of barakah in
it.

finally Quran says it is Allah that has created night

to sleep and we do work in daytime………

That depends on your schedule.

If you HAVE to stay awake like you have a work

shift at 12am in the morning or so, then it’s best to
stay awake till fajr then sleep after.

If you have nothing to do in the night but have

things to do in the morning, it’s best to sleep and
wake up to pray fajr then go back to sleep for a
while (unless you have to stay up after).

It’s good to rest your body as in the Qur’an it

says:

“[He is] the cleaver of daybreak and has made the

night for rest and the sun and moon for
calculation. That is the determination of the
Exalted in Might, the Knowing.” [Qur’an 6:96]

Allah made the night for you to rest and heal. But
of course, that depends on your lifestyle.

Related Is it a sin if you skip Fajr because you

didn’t wake up from your alarm?
You don’t skip Fajr (or any other prayer) because
you didn’t wake up.

When you miss prayer’s time, you pray it later

after you wake up and before you pray the next
prayer (Duhr in your example).

And please do not forget Allah says in the Quran:

“Woe to those who pray, who are

heedless of their prayers” (delaying them
from their prescribed times) (Surah
107:5).

Other than that, Quora is filled with Islamophobic

people and so-called Muslims with weird beliefs
(Some of them are famous here). It would be
better to ask this kind of questions in a mosque or
an Islamic center.

I was a little confused about your question at first
because I couldn't understand why you wouldn't
be able to sleep.

In any case, there is no ruling on going to sleep

after Fajr. But it is very beneficial to stay at your
place of worship and make Dhikr and Du'a. So if
you're gonna stay awake after Fajr and not do
anything, you might as well make Dhikr to make
better use of your time. But if you need more
sleep, there is no harm in going back to sleep
after you have prayed.

Allah does not want His servents to be suffering,

therefore, one should do what is appropriate in
one’s particular situation. For example Thajjud is
the name of late night prayer performed arter Isha
prayer sleep. It is more meritorious than just
staying aawake (Qayam ul lail) to perform late
night prayer.

RelatedIf I pray Tahajjud and accidentally

run over Fajr, is it still accepted?
Usually, Tahajjud is offered as two rak'at followed
by two rak'at and (so on).. When you hear Azan of
Fajr, you finish the two rak’at that you’re praying
then pray Fajr normally.

One piece of advice though: Quora is filled with

Islamophobes and Muslims with wierd beliefs
(some of them are popular here) so it would
always be better to ask an Imam or somone who

Related Why does nobody talk about the

problem that the Islamic prayer times
require you to get up each night and
interrupt your sleep?
Easy!

Because it is NOT A PROBLEM!

I am not a Muslim, just a Catholic. If I were to take

my religion more seriously, I would do something
similar as the observant Muslim do.

Pray at the crack of day, mid-morning, noon,

afternoon, evening and at bedtime. Nowadays,
only monks and nuns do that, and maybe priests,
and also a few very observant laypersons.

Monk is the “profession” that allows males to live

the longest, on average around 85 years, so this
interrupted sleep pattern is actually doing them a
great favor.
