In the diagram English versus Mathematics, it summarizes the language ideas between the two

topics. In the English language, there are a noun and the sentence. Noun is the name given to the
object of interest for example a person, place, or thing. Sentence must state a complete thought if
it is true, false, sometimes true or sometimes false. On the other hand, in the Mathematics
language, there is expression and sentence. Just like noun, expression is the name given to the
object of interest. Mathematical objects like number, set, function, matrix and ordered pair.
Sentence in the Mathematical language is just same as the definition in the English language.
This diagram shows how the construction of the language are alike each other. And to create a
clear and complete sentence both need their noun and expression.
