To All staff
From Robert Pattinson, Head of merger and acquisitions
Subject A merger between Ben&Jerry

After several weeks of negotiations, Ben & Jerry's agreed to become part of our
huge family. Ben & Jerry's was founded by two friends, Ben Cohen and Jerry
Greenfield, in 1978. Ben and Jerry have been recognized for fostering their
company's commitment to social responsibility by the Council on Economic
Priorities, as they donate 7.5 per cent of their pre-tax profits to non-profit
organisations through the Ben & Jerry's Foundation.
Terms of the agreement
Under the terms of the agreement, Ben & Jerry's will operate with an independent
board of directors, which will focus on providing leadership for the social mission
and brand integrity of Ben & Jerry's.
Not only will Unilever continue to donate 7.5 per cent of Ben & Jerry's operating
profits to charity, but it will use Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield to help design its
social policy.
I hope that, as part of Unilever, Ben & Jerry's will continue to expand its role in
society.
If you have any questions about this merger, you can consult FAQ section on our
intranet or contact Head of merger and acquisitions.

Xsellnet wins the “The technology company of the Year” award

After a long difficult period of integration and crisis, Xsellnet, made a move
toward overcame failure and became worthy winner of “The technology company
of the Year”
Tbilisi, Georgia Sept 23 2020

I am so excited to accept “The technology company of the year”.

Only in the last six months, Xsellnet had very serious problems in integrating their
systems and cultures with Wireless. Our corporate culture was so different from
Wireless’s that we couldn’t manage working together and Wireless decided that
they didn’t want an alliance with us anymore.
We didn’t know what to do. Xsellnet needed another strategic partner, but there is
always second option. We found a bank for lending money and made a new start. It
hasn’t been easy, but we have been rewarded for our determination.
