Start the lesson by playing a short piece of
music or singing a simple song. Afterward,
ask the students if they noticed something
special about how the music started and
ended. Encourage them to share their
observations and thoughts.

Introduction to Beginning and Ending:
Explain to the students that in music,
every piece has a beginning and an
ending, just like a story or a conversation.
Define the terms "beginning" and "ending"
in the context of music.
Discuss the importance of a good
beginning and a satisfying ending in
music.
Listening Activity:
Play several short musical excerpts and
ask the students to listen carefully to how
each piece begins and ends.

B. Motivation:
Start the lesson by playing a short audio clip
of a pleasant sound, such as birds singing or
waves crashing on the shore. Ask the
students to describe how it makes them feel.
Then, play a short clip of an unpleasant
sound, like a loud car horn or a screeching
chalkboard, and ask the students to describe
their feelings about that sound. This will pique
their interest and introduce the topic of
pleasant and unpleasant sounds.
