in FFS (form-fill-seal) Flexipack manufacture and from standard 3 or 4 side seal
or pillow pack to doypack or stand-up pouch with re-sealable locking device (zip

CHAPTER 1 SAFETY

Important enlightenment

Please read this manual carefully before installing

and using the machine to avoid personal injury and

damage to the machine

1.1 Security provisions

In order to avoid the occurrence of accidents, this machine has taken

quite complete safety measures, such as affixing warning labels in areas

where damage may be caused, installing various safety protection devices,

and so on. However, in order for these security measures to work fully, the

following rules must also be observed:

1) the machine can only be started when the safety door is closed or

working normally, and the safety door cannot be opened at this time. It is

strictly forbidden to force the opening of the safety door while the machine

is running.

2) when the machine starts, the operator shall carefully inspect all

areas of the operating parts, which shall not contain foreign bodies that may

damage the machine;

3) When the machine is running, it is forbidden to extend hands into

the sealing opening and closing area, scissor opening and closing area and

other moving parts area;

4) When cleaning, lubricating, maintaining or repairing the machine,

the gas source and power supply must be cut off first;

5) if the machine is equipped with a filling device, do not extend the

hand into the device when filling the material;

6) if the safety facilities of the machine are damaged or failed, the

operator shall report in a timely manner;

7) During the suspension of production, the total power supply and

gas source of the machine shall be cut off.

The parts of this machine that may cause human

injury and damage to the machine are as follows:

When the machine works, the heating block of

the hot sealing device, the sealing opening and

closing area of the hot sealing device, the sealing

opening and closing area of the cooling device, the

scissors opening and closing area of the shearing

device, the clamping block opening and closing area

of the bag clamping device, the operation area of the

bag feeding device and the cam rotation area of the

main transmission device, etc.

In case of emergency, press the red stop button on

1.2 safety device

1.2.1 Safety door

1)The machine is made of acrylic to make the safety protection door,

so as to avoid the unintentional contact of the moving parts and the heat

sealing block to cause damage to the human body and damage of the

machine.

2 ) the safety door is equipped with a safety door switch. When the

door is opened or not closed properly, the safety door switch will stop

operation or cannot be started to ensure man-machine safety.

1.2.2 Emergency shutdown button

CHPTER 3 DESCRIPTION OF
STRUCTURE PRINCIPLE
3.1 structural composition
This main machine, electric and gas are highly integration, the
structure composition is shown in figure 3 / 1, including mechanical device,
electronic control system and gas control system three parts.

The mechanical device completes some mechanical actions under the


coordinated action of electricity and gas, such as bag making, sealing,
cutting, filling, bag delivery, bag opening and bag stretching, including film
release device, bottom sealing device, vertical sealing device, easy tearing
device, photocell detective device, servo-driven film pulling device, cutting
device, bag receiving device, bag opening device, air flushing device, bag
conveying device, filling device(optional), bag stretching device, top
sealing device, servo walking beam, product outlet tray and main gear
device, among which, bottom sealing device, vertical sealing device, air
flushing device, cutting device, bag opening device, bag opening device,
filling device(optional), bag stretching device and top sealing device are
driven by ordinary motor. Servo bag device, bag feeding device is driven
by servo motor, PLC control, easy to tear device, driven by cylinder, PLC
acting on solenoid valve to control.

The electronic control system is composed of main motor, frequency


converter, servo motor, servo driver, transformer, heating device, PLC,
touch screen, photoelectric sensor, encoder, proximity switch and other
electrical components.The electrical components of this machine have high
integration and strong control ability. The application of the touch screen
technology makes the operation of the machine more reliable and
convenient, and the man-machine interface is more friendly.The
photoelectric sensor, the encoder, the proximity switch and the like are all
advanced sensing elements, so that the machine and the machine are
integrated into a perfect performance.

The pneumatic control system is mainly used for controlling and


driving certain executing mechanisms to complete the operation, and is

3.The pneumatic components of this machine have high reliability and
stable operation.The air control system uses compressed air as working
medium for transmission of energy and signal. In order to guarantee the

3.1.1 Mechanical installations

1)The film discharge device mainly provides film coil for the
machine, and completes the functions of bag forming, bottom punching and

so on.The packaging film is finally present in the form of a self-supporting


bag after passing through the membrane release device. The bag type of the
self-supporting bag is shown in Chapter 6, Figure 6-1.

2 ) The bottom sealing device is used for the bottom sealing of the
self-supporting bag.

3 ) The three vertical sealing device is composed of two groups of


vertical sealing blocks, which are used for the vertical sealing of the two
sides of the self-supporting bag of the zipper, and the one side vertical
sealing is completed respectively.

4 ) The cooling device is an auxiliary working procedure of the


double-vertical sealing device, and is used for improving the quality of the
vertical sealing, so that the vertical sealing is smooth and beautiful.

5)The easy-to-tear device is used to flush out the easy-to-tear edge


on both sides of the self-supporting bag to facilitate users to tear open the
bag.

6)The hanging hole device is used for punching out the round
hanging hole at the upper edge of the self-supporting bag side, and is
convenient for the user to hang the bag.

7)The punching and rounding device is used for punching a fillet on


both sides of the bottom of the self-supporting bag of the zipper.

8)The servo bag pulling device is driven by the servo motor, relying
on the friction force between the front and rear rollers of the device to pull
the bag to the shear station.

9 ) The shearing device is used to cut the "Long-string packaging


bag" into individual self-supporting bag shapes.

10)The bag clamping device is used to fasten the bag when it is cut.

11 ) The bag opening device absorbs the bag away by vacuum to


facilitate the filling of the material.

12 ) The blowing device uses compressed air to blow the bottom of

the bag open, which is convenient to fill the powder material and make the
powder material fully filled into the self-supporting bag.

13)The bag delivery device gradually conveys the bag from the bag
opening station to the blanking, sealing and unloading the bag station, and
completes the bag exhibition.

14)The filling device is used for automatic filling of materials.

15 ) Vibration device used to arrange bottle nozzles in an orderly


manner and deliver them to the lower nozzle device.

16)The upper sealing device is composed of three groups of upper


sealing blocks. The first two groups of sealing blocks are double-sided
heat-sealing, and the latter group is used for cold-sealing (water-cooling),
so that the bag is flat and beautiful.

17 ) The product output device is driven by the motor and


continuously outputs the self-supporting bag after filling the material.

18)The main transmission device is a motor to drive the main shaft


to rotate, and the main shaft drives the cam on the main shaft to perform
circumferential circulation motion so as to complete the corresponding
action.

19 ) The storage bin device is used for storing the bottle mouth, so
that the number of bottle mouth discharging can be reduced.

20 ) The dust collection device is used for sucking the dust in the
main machine and keeping the clean of the main machine.

21)The water cooling device is used for cooling water circulation to


ensure that the circulating water temperature is constant.

3.1.2 Electronic control system

1)The main motor provides power for the rotation of the spindle and
drives the rotation of the spindle, and its speed and speed are controlled by
the frequency converter.

2 ) Frequency converter controls the speed of AC motor, such as


spindle drive frequency converter, film drive frequency converter,
according to the production needs, stepless speed regulation.

3 ) The servo motor is controlled by the servo driver. The pulse


number of the servo motor can be set in the touch screen to control the
rotation number of the servo traction bag, servo bag and so on, so as to
achieve accurate control.

4)The role of the transformer is to provide the safe and low voltage
required for heating the block, and also to provide the power for the host
control system.

5 ) And the heating device is mainly composed of a heating rod, a


thermocouple and a temperature control table, and the temperature value
can be set in the temperature control table.

6)PLC plays the role of central nervous system in the equipment. It


receives the feedback signal from each control point of the equipment, and
then issues the corresponding instructions to control the overall
coordination of the equipment.

7 ) Touch screen is the interface of human-computer interaction


dialogue. The use of touch screen makes many process parameters and
states that can not be seen and touched be displayed directly in front of the
user, which is intuitionistic and vivid. Touch screen and PLC connection is
only a communication cable, which greatly improves the reliability of the
equipment.

8 ) The encoder is one of the core control elements of the machine.


The order and the tempo of the work of the machine parts of the machine
are determined by the encoder.

9)The color standard detector is an electrical control element which


controls the action of the motor by detecting the color standard on the
packaging film.The machine is provided with a color code detector in three

10 ) The temperature controller is the control element of the control


block in the machine, the PID function in the temperature controller can
ensure that the temperature of the heating seal is controlled within the
permissible error range set, so that the finished package is beautiful and
flat.

11 ) Solid-state relay is a contactless relay, controlled by the


temperature controller, when the temperature controller has a signal to the
solid state relay, the solid state relay action, heating the seal. Since solid-
state relays are contactless relays, they have a long service life and high
reliability.

3.1.3 Gas control system

1 ) Hand-controlled valve is used to quickly and easily control the


flow of air, press the handle of the hand-controlled valve, air flow open, lift
the handle, then the air flow is closed.

2 ) The two-piece is composed of a pressure-reducing device and a


filter for regulating and further cleaning compressed air to meet the
requirements of use;

3)The pressure gauge is used to show the actual pressure size;

4)The solenoid valve is installed on the air plate, and the signal from
the PLC controls the coil, thus controlling the operation of the solenoid
valve.

5)The cylinder, as the execution element, is installed on the station

easy tear, fillet and other actions are completed under the control of the
solenoid valve.

3.2 Brief introduction of packaging principle


3.2.1 Working principle of packaging

On the spindle in the spindle drive, there are a series of cams of


different shapes, which, when the spindle rotates, are driven by the action
of each cam to complete the corresponding action, and when the cam
rotates, the angle of rotation is passed to the PLC by the encoder connected
to the spindle. The PLC controls the corresponding device according to the
phase angle of the set action. That is, by the spindle cam and PLC work
together to ensure the coordination and unity of the various device
movements. With each turn of the spindle, the whole machine completes a
complete bag-making, filling, bottle-sealing and bag-out process.

3.2.2 Packaging process

This machine automatically completes the molding, bag-making,


shearing, filling, sealing, output and other packaging process, as shown in
Figure 3-3, its process can be broken down into:

The bag-making process includes the process of pulling the bottom,

CHPTER 4 MACHINE TRANSPORT AND


HANDLING
4.1 Transport
The outer packaging of the machine at the time of transport depends
on the order requirements, except for the user specified that no packaging
or packaging in a specific way, generally using wooden box packaging.
When handling, care should be taken to light, avoid collisions, do not allow
two machines stacked.

4.1.1 Transport of touch screens and their connecting


components

When transporting, in order to pack conveniently, the touch screen


and its connecting components also need to be removed from the position
shown in Figure 4-1, and then placed flat on the frame as a whole, to be
fixed and transported together at random. Note: Do not break the wires
when the touch screen and its connecting parts are flat. The disassembly of
the touch screen and its connecting components is simple, simply loosening
the four bolts shown in Figure 4-1.

CHAPTER 5 MACHINE INSTALLATION


AND START-UP

5.1 Basic requirements for machine installation


When the machine is installed, it should meet the basic requirements
of installation space, power supply, gas source and so on.

5.1.1 Space size

There must be sufficient space (Figure 5-1 machine mounting space


size) around the unit to facilitate adjustment, maintenance lubrication and
repair when changing product specifications. The level of the correction
machine can be adjusted with a brace (see Figure 2-1) so that the machine is
at its basic level and supports the ground, the machine must not shake.

5.1.2 Power requirements

This equipment requires the power input for 3-phase, 380-10%V,


50Hz(can be customized as customer requirment), recommended the use of
three-phase five-wire connection.In areas where conditions are not
available, three-phase four-wire connection can be used. At this time, the
device is connected to zero protection.If the equipment is customized, the
power supply information shall be subject to the contract

5.1.3 Compressed air requirements

In order to ensure the normal operation of the equipment, to be


equipped with air source with air pressure of 0.6 to 0.1Mpa, and connected
to the gas drying device; the rated gas supply of the gas source must be the
rated air consumption of the equipment at least 1.5 times; if the air
compressor is used, it is recommended that the gas source should be installed
outside the working area, a special gas supply room, And equipped with air
compression air storage tank, to drain every day, and check the safety valve.

5.2 Machine start


5.2.1 Introduction to the Control Panel

After properly connecting the rack, membrane discharge, gas source,


power supply, and dust removal equipment (the connection of the machine
is the responsibility of the manufacturer), the machine can be
commissioned. All the operation of the machine takes place on the
operating station. The native operating station control panel sees figure 5-2

5.2.2 The empty operation of the machine

The operating procedures for the empty operation of the machine are
as follows:

1)After removing debris from the compressed air pipe (especially the
newly installed pipe), connect the pipe to the "air inlet" of the air source
treatment unit shown in Figure 5-3;

2)Rotate the "switch valve knob", then the "switch valve" opens to
allow air flow through, and then adjust the pressure to 0.6mpa through the
"pressure regulating knob of the unloader";
3 ) Carefully inspect the machine to make sure that there are no
foreign objects on the operating devices on the machine.

4)Connect the power supply, confirm that the power supply switch is
turned to "ON" after confirmation. The power master switch is located on
the left side of the electrical control box on the left side of the left frame, as
shown in Figure 5-4.
5)Everything is normal. Turn the "Jog" button shown in Figure 5-2
to the right.,start the machine in a tap-and-click manner, and check that
there is no abnormal sound in the operation of the machine.
6)If there is no exception, press the "Start" button shown in Figure 5-
2 and the machine enters a continuous empty operation.

5.2.3 Trial packaging operation

When this machine leaves the factory, it is generally commissioned


according to the packaging film provided by the user, so the packaging film

can be installed according to the following steps:


1)The gas in the gas expansion shaft is released (the valve (inflator
port) of the gas-expansion shaft is located at the right end of the air-
flatshaft, press the valve down, then release the valve is closed), so that the
coil core can be smoothly incorporated into the installation shaft;

2 ) Align the edge of the roll film cylinder core with the
corresponding position of the scale to ensure that the packaging film is in
the middle of the inflatable shaft;

3 ) Use the inflation gun to inflate the air-expansion shaft to tighten


the membrane

4 ) Pass the packaging film through each guide roller in turn


according to the schematic diagram shown in 3-4.

5 ) Continue to pass the packaging film one by one through the


bottom seal device, vertical seal device, easy tearing device, color label
detection device, servo bag pulling device, bag catching device in the bag-
making process and the shearing process until the scissors, and the color
label on the packaging film aligned with the blade.As shown in figure 6-6,
when the packaging film passes through the "servo bag holding device", it
is necessary to manually turn the upper and lower hand wheel to the right,
so that the internal roller of the servo bag holding device can produce a
certain gap, so that the packaging film can pass through smoothly.After
passing through the packaging film, manually rotate the upper and lower
hand wheel to make the front and rear rollers press the packaging film, the
packaging film depends on the friction of the front and rear rollers, can be
successfully pulled to the shear station.

6)Adjust the left and right ring of the membrane correction part of
the "film placement device" so that the left and right ring close to the left
and right edge of the membrane, to prevent the film from going off, adjust
all the sliders in the machine, so that the upper and lower sliders close to
the upper and lower edges of the bag, to ensure that all the upper and lower
sliders in the same height position, and to ensure that the upper and lower
slider splints properly, to achieve the film requirements to make the film
not deformed ;

7 ) Move the photoelectric tube close to the color label so that the
beam

is aligned with the color label

8)Turn on the heater switch and the color label selection switch (see
the "Touch screen operating instructions" in Chapter 9);

9 ) Set the operating mode of the vacuum system (see the "Touch
screen operating instructions" in Chapter 9).

10 ) To the temperature of each block to reach the set temperature,


right-hand "click" knob for a few seconds, so that the machine empty
package 3 packs or 4 packs;

11 ) Check the seal and appearance quality of the bag, after no


problems can press the green start button on the control panel to enter
continuous health;

12 ) If all goes well, the material to be packed can be added to the


container of the filling unit (see "Filling Device (Options)" in Chapter 7);

13 ) When the bag-making process is normal, according to your


company's optional filling device, set the working status of the filling
device on the touch screen (if necessary, manually check the operation of
the filling system).

14)Then press the green button, so that the machine for continuous
bag-making process, normal, open the filling button, the machine will enter
a fully automatic packaging state.

* Note: Normally stop please press the red stop button, and
the emergency stop button (red mushroom button).

6.2 Packaging film specifications


The maximum diameter of the film can be supported by this machine
is 500mm, the film width depends on the height of the bag and the forming
height of the bottom of the bag, the printing position of the color label and
pattern can be referenced in Figure 6-2, wherely the "front" marked refers
to the machine running film facing people's side. As for the front and back
of the bag pattern printing on which side, customers can choose according
to their own needs. However, the printed position of the cursor must be as
shown.

6.3 Machine adjustment sits when the bag is high


As in the entire packaging process, when the bag height changes, the
packaging bag vertical seal, easy to tear, color label, upper seal and other
positions fixed unchanged, in addition to the need for the film, must adjust
the entire packaging process of all the falling blocks of the position, only
need to adjust with the bottom of the packaging bag molding, lower seal,

open bag and other process-related devices, This includes the film release
device (including the bottom punch part and the membrane molding part),
the back ingress unit, the fillet device, the servo bag unit, the open bag
device, the product output device, etc.

6.3.1 Adjust the film release device

Loosen the bolts on the film positioning retaining ring, adjust the
distance between the film positioning retaining ring on the film release
guide roller to make it equal to the width of the packaging film, and at the
same time, the distance between the center of the packaging film and the
base plate is 240mm, and then tighten the bolts of the film positioning
retaining ring.

6.3.2 Adjustment of the bottom sealing device

As shown in Figure 6-4, when adjusting the height of the bag, first loosen
the upper and lower adjusting screws A, rotate the adjusting studs B, so that
the bottom sealing part of the bottom sealing device can move up and down
along the long groove at the back end, then adjust the bottom sealing
device in the upper and lower directions, so that the front and rear sealing
blocks of the bottom sealing device are closed to the bottom of the
packaging bag, and keep parallel. Finally, tighten the upper and lower
adjusting screws A.

During the use of the equipment, the following points should be noted for
the adjustment of the bottom seal device:

1) For thicker packaging film, the pressure of the sealing block should be
appropriately increased. The adjustment method is as follows: screw down
the spring cover C and press the spring to a proper position.

2) When using a three-side seal, loosen the two upper and lower adjustment
screws A, lower the seal to a position lower than the bottom of the bag, and
fix it. If the bottom seal device is not used for a long time, the bottom seal
device can be removed and stored properly.

3) When the three-side seal is used, the bottom seal device does not work.
It needs to be set through the touch screen so that the seal is no longer
heated to save electricity (see Chapter 9 for touch screen operation).

6.3.3 Adjustment of fillet device

As shown in Figure 6-5, when adjusting the height of the bag, first
loosen bolt A and adjust the position of the lower slider in the up-down
direction so that the distance H between the upper and lower sliders is
equal to the height of the bag and then tighten Bolt A; then loosen the two
bolts B, adjust the position of the membrane guide plate in the up-down
direction so that it is in the center of the bag, and then tighten the two bolts
C.

6.3.4 Adjustment of servo film pulling device

As shown in Figure 6-9, when adjusting the height of the bag, first
loosen the fixing bolt of C, and adjust the guide membrane in the up-down
direction so that the bottom of the opening of the guide membrane is flush
with the lower edge of the bag, and then tighten the C bolt.

6.3.5 Bag opening device adjustment

As shown in Figure 6-7, loosen the four bolts indicated by A, and


move the suction cup mounting plate B along the up and down direction of
the front and rear support blocks, so that the lower suction cup just fits the
packaging film and opens the bag smoothly. Refers to the 4 bolts. If the
height of the packaging bag is less than 90mm, the lower suction port is no
longer used, and the bolt C can be unscrewed to separate the joint bearing
D from the bag opening crank E. At the same time, it should be set in the
touch screen so that the lower suction port is closed (for details, please
refer to “Touch Screen Operation Instructions” in Chapter 11)

6.4 Adjustment of the machine at the time of the


change in the package width
Bag width is the main technical parameter of horizontal packing
machine. Once the width of the bag changes, almost all devices have to be
adjusted accordingly. For example, in the process of bag making, it is
necessary to replace the bottom seal block and zipper vertical seal block; in
the shearing process, the color standard should be realigned, the stroke of
the traction bag should be reset, the distance between the two groups of
scissors cutting edge should be adjusted, and so on, as follows.

6.4.1 Shearing device adjustment

As shown in Figure 6-9, when you need to adjust the width of the bag,
First loosen bolt A, and then move B horizontally, so that the adjustment
mark on B is aligned with the scale corresponding to the scissors scale. But
do not interfere with the scissors, and then tighten bolt A. Ensure that the
blade edge is vertical during the movement and tightening process.

6.4.2 Vertical sealing device adjustment

As shown in Figure 6-10, when adjusting, first loosen bolts A and B


with a wrench, then move the sealing device to the corresponding bag
width scale on the ruler, and then tighten the bolts A and B.

6.4.3 Easy to tear device adjustment

As shown in Figure 6-11, loosen bolt A, and then move the easy-to-
tear device to an appropriate position. The so-called appropriate position
means that the center of the easy-punching punch and the cutting center of
the scissors are exactly an integer multiple of the bag. Tighten bolt A.
Similarly move the other two tear-off devices, and make the distance
between the centers of the two tear-off punches exactly one bag width.

When the position of the easy-tear mouth is adjusted, if the date


printing code interferes with the easy-tear mouth, then continue to adjust
the easy-tear position or vertical seal position, as long as the distance

between them and the cutting surface of the scissors device is bag wide Just
double it.

After the cutting edge of the punch is worn, you can turn around and
use it. After the cutting edges of both ends are worn, the fine oil stone and
the lubricating oil can be used for grinding along the cutting edge until the
sharp edge is sharp.

6.4.4 Adjustment of color scale detection device

The function of the color mark detection device is to detect the cursor
when the optical fiber sensor sends a signal to the PLC, and the PLC sends
a signal to control the bag pulling action to ensure the accuracy of the bag
length.

The following points should be noted when adjusting the color mark
detector:

1) The distance between the color mark detection point and the front
edge of the scissors should be an integer multiple of the bag width.

2) When adjusting the color mark detector, as shown in Figure 6-12,


loosen knob A and then turn knob B to align the light spot of the color mark
detector with the color mark of the bag, and then tighten knob A.

3) For the use of the color mark detector, please refer to the "Color
mark detection sensor instruction manual".

During the use of the device, the following points should be noted for the
color mark detector:

1) The distance from the fiber head of the fiber optic sensor to the
cursor of the film should be appropriate. The light beam can be focused on
the color scale and the color scale can be accurately detected.

2) Loosen the knob C of the fixed color mark detection base, and
adjust its upper and lower positions so that the light beam strikes the
middle of the cursor.

3) During the operation of the device, the optical fiber sensor must not
have obvious vibration, otherwise it will affect the detection effect.

4) The left and right positions of the sensor should be judged based on
the effect of the scissors cutting the film, so that the scissors can be cut to
the middle of the cursor.

6.4.5 Adjustment of servo bag pulling device

The bag pulling action of the machine is driven by servo motor. When
the bag width changes, we need reset the length data of the servo pull bag.
It can be operated by a touch screen. For details, please check the "touch
screen operation instructions" in chapter 9.

6.4.6 Adjustment of bag opening device and air blowing device

As shown in Figure 6-13, when the bag width changes, loosen the
bolts 3 and 5, and move the clamp block 4 and the suction cup fixing block
6 horizontally so that the position of the "suction cup" can be realigned
with the center position of the packaging bag. Tighten the bolts 3 and 5;
loosen the bolts 1, and move the suction pipe clamp block 2 horizontally so
that the position of the "blowing nozzle" can be realigned with the center
position of the opening of the packaging bag, and the bolts 1 can be
tightened.

As the bag width changes, you may need to adjust the width of the
bag. The width of the bag is changed from large to small. Loosen bolt A
and adjusting screw C to move the joint bearing B in the direction of a.
Loosen bolt D and adjusting screw F to move the joint bearing E in the
direction of b. Finally, tighten the bolt. A and bolt C; the width of opening
the bag changes from small to large. Loosen bolt A and tighten the

adjusting screw C so that the joint bearing B moves in the opposite


direction of a. Loosen the bolt C and tighten the adjusting screw F to make
the joint bearing. E moves in the opposite direction of direction b, and
finally tightens bolt A and bolt C.

6.4.7 Adjustment of bag feeding device

When the bag conveying device clamps the bag in the front and rear
top blocks, it conveys the bag to the corresponding station to complete the
corresponding function. When the bag width is changed, the position of the
top block needs to be adjusted so that the top block can withstand the
vertical seal position of the bag again, as shown in Figure 6-15. The
adjustment method is as follows:

First loosen the fixing screw on clamp block A, change the distance
between the two top blocks, so that the top post on the top block just grips
the vertical seal position of the bag (the front and back must be aligned),
and then fix the screw on clamp block A. Each six pairs is a group of three
bags. After the bag display station, the interval between the top blocks of
each group is a bag width; before the bag display station, the interval
between the top blocks of each group is vacuum opened Actual bag width
after the bag opened.

6.4.8 Adjustment of the filling device

When the bag width changes, the location of the feeding cup must be
adjusted accordingly. Orient the bottom of the "feed cup" to the center of
the bag opening.

6.4.9 Adjustment of bag expansion device

As shown in Figure 6-16, when the bag width changes, loosen bolt A
first, and then move the "soft chuck seat" horizontally until the "polyester
head" on the "soft chuck seat" is facing the packaging bag. Vertical seal,
tighten bolt A, and then adjust the other "soft chuck seat" in the same way.
When the width of the bag changes, the width of the bag must also change.
Loosen the bolt C first. If the adjustment screw D is loosened when the bag
changes from large to small, the joint bearing B should move in the
direction of a. When it is large, tighten the adjusting screw D, then the joint
bearing B should move in the opposite direction of a, and then tighten the
bolt C. Adjust the other two bag parts in the same way.

CHAPTER 7 FILLING DEVICE (OPTION)

Depending on the physical properties of the different packaging


materials, the appropriate filling device should be selected to meet their
respective needs. The general material can be divided into three broad
categories of powder, liquid agent and granule according to its geometric
shape. Depending on the properties of these three different types of
materials, we can provide a variety of different types of filling devices to
meet different needs. Such as a liquid self-flow filling device (mainly
suitable for liquid with good fluidity), a servo powder filling device
(mainly suitable for powder), a piston type filling device (mainly suitable
for liquid with a certain viscosity), and a measuring cup type material
device (mainly suitable for particles).

7.1 Powder filling device


The powder filling device is shown in figure 7-1.

The filling device adopts servo motor to drive the blanking screw A.
because the output volume of each screw is constant, and the performance
of servo motor determines that it can stop in any moment, the filling device
has the characteristics of high measurement accuracy.
Stirring ensures a balanced blanking.
The top of the barrel is equipped with a level detector, equipped with a
screw feeder or vacuum feeder can achieve automatic feeding.

7.1.1 Adjustment of the position of the feeding port

The height of blanking port C can be adjusted according to the


situation(to facilitate packing, the lowest position may be adjusted when
leaving the factory). The specific adjustment method is as follows:

As shown in Fig.7-1, loosen the lock nut D, and rotate the screw E in
the counterclockwise direction with the wrench, so that the discharge port
C (the whole barrel device is raised) can be increased; if it is to be lowered,
the screw E is rotated in the opposite direction. After adjustment, lock nut

different sizes should be selected in order to achieve ideal filling speed and
accuracy.

PS:Note: the above data are calculated by screw theory. In practical


use, according to the different properties of the material, the actual feeding
amount may be a little different. The number of rotatable cycles of the
screw can generally be set to 3 ≤ 5 revolutions, which can be accurately
measured by setting the pulse number of the servo motor.

For the same packaging capacity, the selection of different sizes of


screw will have a certain impact on packaging accuracy.

7.1.3 Setting of package capacity (adjustment of precision)

The size of the packing quantity is completed by changing the number


of rotation angles of the screw. For details, see the "powder filling control"
in the operation description of the touch screen in Chapter X.

7.2 Liquid filling device


The filling device is based on the principle of gravity self-flow,
constant liquid level control and PLC control valve opening time, in order
to achieve stable filling capacity, so it is more suitable for liquid with good
liquidity. The device has the characteristics of simple structure and
convenient adjustment. The blanking device has a leakproof plug structure
to avoid drip contamination of the bag.

The liquid level sensor is used to detect the level of the liquid level
and automatically send out signals to control the automatic opening and
closing of the feeding device (the feeding equipment of the liquid agent
needs to be provided by the customer); the inlet port is a 1 inch threaded
live joint, the customer needs to be connected to the feed pipe, and a valve
should be added to the feed pipe when connected.

During operation, just open the manual valve under the tank, set the
required value on the control screen, and open the main control valve (ball
valve) before filling the liquid filling device to make the liquid flow and
drain the air in the pipe. The total discharge time of the liquid is determined
by the time parameters (electrical part). Through the setting of this
parameter to complete the measurement fine-tuning.

7.3 Rotary measuring cup type filling device


The filling device is mainly used for filling the dry particles, and as
shown in FIG.7-4, the upper turntable can be driven to move up and down
by the handle of the rotary regulator, so that the filling volume of the
measuring cup can be changed. The device has two models, the CT13-
XZLB rotary measuring cup type filling device has five sets of measuring
cups, the CT18-XZLB rotary measuring cup type filling device has four
sets of measuring cups, the volume of each set of measuring cups is as
shown in Table 7-2, and can be selected according to requirements so as to
adapt to different filling requirements.

7.4 Piston type filling device


The filling device is mainly used for filling colloid with certain
viscosity. The device has the characteristics of simple structure, convenient
adjustment and so on.

The material level device is used to detect the level of the liquid level,
to control the automatic opening and closing of the feeding device (the
feeding equipment of the liquid agent needs to be provided by the

customer); the inlet port is on the upper cover and needs to be connected to
the feed pipe, and a valve is added to the feed pipe when connected.

The filling process is as follows:

1) the piston rod of cylinder C extends down to block the nozzle.


Cylinder B acts in direction b to make the directional valve in the pumping
state (that is, the cylinder is connected with the material cavity and the
material cavity is disconnected from the discharge nozzle), and the cylinder
A acts in direction a to fill the material cavity.

2) the cylinder B acts in the opposite direction of b, the reverse valve


is in the beating state (that is, the material cavity is connected with the
discharge nozzle, and the material cavity is disconnected from the material
cylinder), and the cylinder C safe and c direction moves so that the nozzle
is connected with the discharge nozzle.

3) cylinder A presses the liquid from the discharge nozzle into the
nozzle according to the reverse direction of a, and then fills it into the bag.

CHAPTER 8 OUTPUT BAG


DEVICE(OPTION)

8.1 Principle of the machine


Output bag device is mainly composed of vacuum sucker, rotating bag
swing rod, rotating bag crank, connecting rod, retaining bag crank,
retaining bag plate, CAM, etc. (see details of 11.4 parts refer to the table).

8.2 Machine adjustment


Considering the maneuverability and versatility of the mechanism, the
mechanism can be adjusted according to the change of bag shape, which
mainly involves "bag height adjustment", "bag width adjustment" and other
aspects.

8.2.1Adjustment when bag height changes


As shown in figure 8-1, when the bag height changes, loosen the 6
bolts referred to in a and move 3 suckers seat a along the up and down
direction until the suckers are aligned to the top of the side of the bag,
tighten the 6 bolts referred to in a;Loosen the 2 bolts referred to in b and
move the support of the retaining bag plate in the up and down direction so
that the retaining bag plate C is aligned with the highest point on the side of
the bag, then tighten the 2 bolts referred to in b.

8.2.2Adjust when bag width changes


As shown in figure 8-2, when the bag width changes, loosen the 12
bolts referred to in a and move 6 front collet seat a and 6 back collet seat C
horizontally, so that the top column on the front and rear collet seat can just
clip the vertical sealing position of the bag (the front and rear collet seat
must be aligned), tighten the 12 bolts referred to in a;Loosen the 3 bolts
referred to in b and move the 3 suction cup mounting seats horizontally so
that the position of the "suction cup" can be re-aligned to the center of the
packaging bag. Tighten the 3 bolts referred to in b.

As the width of the bag changes, it may be necessary to adjust the


range of the bag receiving.The range of bag receiving changes from large

CHAPTER 9 MAINTENANCE AND


LUBRICATION
9.1 maintenance
Note the following:

1) Regularly clean the machine according to the nature of the product


packaged by the user;

2) Use a thin wire brush to clean the surface of the heat seal at any time to
keep the surface of the seal clean;

3) Keep the joint shaft and other rotating shafts clean and wash them once a
day;

4) The scissors of the packaging machine are made of special alloy


material, which has the advantage of good sharpness. In order to maintain
its sharpness and durability, the following points should be noted in use:

Keep the surface of the scissors clean and remove debris every day. After
shutdown, apply anti-rust oil to the surface of the scissors.

During driving, empty the car as little as possible to prevent shortening the
service life of the scissors caused by air grinding.

After the blade of the scissors is worn, the cut of the bag will be uneven. At
this time, do not change the cutting angle at will. Use fine oil stone and
lubricant to polish up and down along the pair of opposite friction surfaces
of the scissors until it is sharp.

5) Regularly check the anastomosis of each pair of seals and adjust if


necessary;

6) Clean the filter of the vacuum system regularly. As shown in Figure 3-2,
unscrew knob A, remove the filter element, remove the garbage from it,
clean the filter element, then install the filter element, and turn knob A.

7) Drain the sewage from the compressed air filter regularly. As shown in
Figure 5-4, turn off the knob on the sewage outlet, drain the sewage into the
prepared container, and then turn on the knob on the sewage outlet.9.2

lubricating
Note the following :

1) most of the rotating parts of the machine are equipped with self-
lubricating shaft sleeve, refueling once a week during daily maintenance;

2) the groove and bearing of the upper seal frame are lubricated once a
week;

3) For the CF16 bearing set used in this machine, as shown in Figure 8-1,
where * is the point of touch. Add oil once a week to the bearing;

4) To ensure the normal operation of the machine, the lubrication interval


provided shall be taken as a reference, as it also determines the ambient
humidity, dust condition and corrosion condition;

5) The cam contact surface shall be injected once every 72 hours

6) Other rolling bearing points are refueled once a month and all types of
joint bearings are lubricated once a week;

7) The first oil change after 1 month of the reduction box, and then change
the oil once every six months;
