2019 and there are still many
people who don’t even think
about trying it. Why?
Well, here are 5 reasons why
people don’t recycle:
1st) “Recycling is inconvenient.”
Probably this is the main reason
why people don not recycle, as
they don’t want to put an extra
effort onto a daily action. ‘Life is
already tough so, why make your
life more complicated?... They
won’t chase recycling bins if they
are few metres from their homes,
and some of them would argue
about being bothered by this social
necessity.
2nd) “I do not have enough room
for so many bins”
Having many bins is an eyesore,
so people don’t want to see
garbage bins with a little storage
space for recycling as they feel
forced to have many other bins, or
bags around them as an extra
space for this issue.
3rd) “If they paid me, I’d recycle.”
This is the watchword of many
people. It is a fact that few
countries pay for bottle recycling,
but some other fine their citizens
for not doing it. Where is the
balance? We know paying for
recycling actually works well, but is
income? We don’t think
so…
