Gate Street Barn is a distinctive venue with multiple spaces to optimise your wedding experience.
The r ustic Barn is the perfect place for your Ceremony, before you head out to the Oranger y and
landscaped wedding garden for your drinks reception. An all weather venue, booking your wedding at
Gate Street Barn means this is a factor you will not need to worr y about. The Oranger y link connects
the Barn to the Pheasantr y which also provides ample space for you and your guests on the day.
The Atrium is an extension to

the Barn allowing an abundance
of light. Extra seating can be
provided here for the wedding
breakfast. As the evening draws
in, the elegant chandelier s and

cosy autumn/winter wedding. The well-maintained gardens are stunning all
year round, with plenty of unique spots for the perfect photo to be captured.

The Tack Room offer s plenty of space, natural light and a relaxing environment for you
to enjoy with your par ty ahead of the ceremony. Equipped with skylight windows, station
seating, private location and ensuite bathroom.
The Old Dair y is equipped with a private cour tyard space, log burner, bar area and ample
cosy seating. This large room is located just opposite the venue near the entrance,
allowing easy access for occupier s to decorate the Barn on the morning of the wedding.

For a Civil Marriage or Par tner ship, please contact 0330 200 1002 and ask for Guildford
Marriage Office to book your Registrar s. Please bear in mind we do not charge for you to host
your ceremony with us however there is a fee payable directly to the Register Office.
In collaboration with your chosen caterer, we have an established and efficient procedure in
place to allow a transformation from ceremony to wedding breakfast during the drinks reception.

Our Farmhouse Avenue area is manicured and maintained

as par t of the Gate Street gardens and for use as an
outdoor ceremony space. Surrounded by nature and
over looking the beautiful Surrey Hills, this area makes
for a peaceful, unforgettable spot to host your ceremony.
There is no additional cost for the use of this space

to Gate Street, however décor and furniture, including
seating, is required to be provided by the hirer.

Just a shor t wander from the main venue, the Woodland is the ultimate site for a natural
rustic celebration. The woodland structure can be decorated however you wish, to create a
bohemian oasis in the enchanting surroundings for an unforgettable wedding ceremony.
Eight rustic wooden benches are included and permanently stationed at the Woodland
which can seat up to 40 guests. Additional seating is arranged directly via the couple and
is down to preference – this can range from extra benches to picnic blankets for a more
rustic and relaxed ceremony.
There is an additional fee of £500 to host your Outdoor ceremony at the Woodland.
50% of this fee is refunded post event if the weather is unkind.

create the perfect setting for your meal.
We have six outstanding caterer s to choose from. They will wor k with you to fulfil your
ever y requirement and ensure the food is as memorable as the rest of your day. From

We offer three main dr inks packages to cater for all budgets and tastes:

special day. Ellis Wines are a London based wine merchant who are like-minded supplier s,
following a similar ethos with sustainability and professional ser vice .
Your chosen caterer s are par tnered alongside us and will ser ve your dr inks on the day
using a var iety of glassware , selected by you.
At Gate Street, we pr ide our values on offer ing flexibility ever y step of the way, the
option for you to provide your own tipples for the day on a dr y-hire bases is also
available to you with a simple handling fee of £15 p/head or £750 to fur ther offer
flexibility of weddings of different sizes.

We provide experienced, uniformed staff and a Bar Manager to r un a fully stocked

paying bar which accepts debit and credit cards as well as contactless payment methods.
We also have a state-of-the-ar t barista coffee machine.
The Evening Cashless Paying Bar can be open from 6pm, is included in the venue hire fee
and has a minimum £800 turnover covered by a security deposit. You can set up a tab
and various r ules to suit your budget. A fee is applicable for an ear lier opening time and
accepting cash.
The Evening Bar must open to coincide with the end of the meal and will close at
11.30pm. This is followed by the music finishing at 11.45pm and carriages at midnight.
The staff will continuously manage and tidy throughout the evening and gather together
your items at the end of the event so they can be collected easily the following day.
