3.0 Primary Requirement

3.1 Coordination Requirement

Identification of existing services and structure around the working area to be coordinated
before the work commencement.

3.2 Other Operation Requirement

- Work access to the construction area need to confirmed and approved by Kinetics.
- Location for storage and the type of material to store must be approved by Kinetics.

3.3 Receiving
- Upon arrival of the material, the consignment shall be verified by the supervisor to match
the packing list
- All material received at site shall be visually inspected for any damages in order to avoid of
work and also the quantity as per DO.

3.4 Handling
- Proper methods & equipment, i.e. trolley or pallet jack to be used for transferring of the
materials or tools.
- Supervisor shall monitor the work and ensure the work is complied with all safety
requirement.

3.5 Storage
- Proper barricade & barrier ownership tag to be used for materials storage.
- Proper containment tray to be used for materials storage.
- Daily housekeeping shall be carried out to ensure the cleanness of the area.

4.0 Work Activity Methodology / Arrangement

4.1 Site Preparation

- Planning the best route for the access to get in and out
- Investigate & coordinate of existing buildings, structure, M&E which may affected the
progress of the works.
- Identify the storage location for materials, tool and equipment.
- The working areas must be barricade using barricade cone and safety tape to avoid people
to enter the working areas.
- Temporary protection if necessary
- Erect temporary working platform if necessary

4.2 Mobilization & Installation

No Activity Sequence
1 a) To inform related Project Manager, System Owner and KINETICS EHS
management before start work for the day.

b) To obtain the entire relevant valid EHS document before start work.

To assign all the workers, staff to attend safety induction before start
work.

Get the valid permit for the workers and machinery to enter the site.

2 a) Inform the Project Manager or person in charge before start work

b) Detail of the activity to be performed shall be informed/briefed and explained

before starting work

c) Precautions must be taken before and during activity in accordance to DOSH

standard

d) During the progress of activity, the work shall be under the continuous
supervision of an experienced foreman.

e) Provide safeguards, including related signages, barricades, temporary

fences, warning lights and other similar items that are required for protection of
all personnel during all activity involved.

3 Mobilization of tools and workers

a) To inform related Project Manager, System Owner and EHS Management

before start work for the day.

b) Obtained the entire relevant valid EHS document before start work.

c) All Vehicles to comply the wheel stopper when loading material.

d) Shall be use manpower to mobilize the materials into the work location and
storage area. (Backhoe & Lorry will be used for excavation).

e) Compactor machine to be used for compaction activity).

f) Get advised from KINETICS project management team for the location for
material storage.

g) Shall be used forklift to mobilize the materials into the work area if necessary.

h) Pallet Jack shall be used during work where necessary for mobilize the
material to work location needed.

4 To brief the workers on the job sequence and streamline their job for hazard
avoidance prior work starts.

5 Hard barricade all working area by using tubular scaffolding.

6 To prepare the power supply to the working area by using extension wire.

7 Barricade of working area with properly.

8 - To inform related Project Manager, System Owner and EHS management

before start work for the day.
- Obtained the entire relevant valid EHS document, SIPP and PTP before start
work.
- All vehicles to comply the wheel stopper when loading material.
- Get advice and approval from kinetics project management team for the
location for material storage.
- Forklift, pallet jack or trolley to be used to mobilize the materials at work area
- Hard barricade to all working area
- To prepare the power supply to the working area by using extension wire for
temporary lighting if necessary.

9 COVID 19 Safety Measures to be follow strictly throughout the setup.

10 To do final housekeeping at works area and proper material arrangement.

4.3 Demolition work

Location of demolition – please enclosed CSA drawings which has been demarcated.

No Activity Sequence
1 Concrete plinth demolition
- Pre-inspection with Kinetic Engineer to confirm the demolish items and to
determine the existing structure and site condition.
- M&E services have been completely terminated before the demolition start.
- Use either backhoe breaker or air compressor breaker to hack the concrete
plinths.
- Use oxy cutter to remove the rebar
- Use mobile crane to hoist the concrete debris from level 2 to level 1. Then
use forklift to transfer the debris to the cart away area.

2 Metal roof demolition

- Pre-inspection with Kinetic Engineer to confirm the demolish items and to
determine the existing structure and site condition.
- M&E services have been completely terminated before the demolition start.
- Remove the roof metal sheet by using the electrical tool to remove the screw.
The roof metal sheet has to removed one by one.
- Next, after the roof metal sheet completely removed, the steel truss/frame
has to remove as well. Oxy cutter will be used if require for the cutting of
steel.
- Use mobile crane or forklift to transfer the steel truss/frame
- The roof metal sheet and steel truss/frame have to return to kinetics.

3 Cement board wall panel demolition

- Pre-inspection with Kinetic Engineer to confirm the demolish items and to
determine the existing structure and site condition.
- M&E services have been completely terminated before the demolition start.
- Use scissor lift and A ladder will be used for dismantle wall panel on height
level
- Remove all screw from wall panel by electrical tool screwdriver
- Remove and transfer the wall panel to the floor from top level.
- Dismantle mild steel hollow by power saw and screwdriver power tool.
- Forklift or trolley will be used to transfer the debris to the cart away area.

4 Brick wall demolition

- Pre-inspection with Kinetic Engineer to confirm the demolish items and to
determine the existing structure and site condition.
- M&E services have been completely terminated before the demolition start.
- Use air compressor breaker to remove the brickwall
- Forklift or trolley will be used to transfer the debris to the cart away area.

5 Louver, Doors & Roller Shutters dismantling

- Pre-inspection with Kinetic Engineer to confirm the demolish items and to
determine the existing structure and site condition.
- M&E services have been completely terminated before the demolition start.
- Remove the louver or door manually.

6 Housekeeping after Work

- All equipment have to be stored in the proper areas. Avoid putting at access
areas e.i walkway or doors areas.
- All fire exists and emergency access points are kept clear at all times and
ensure not equipment or rubbish which may block the access.
- Any visible hazards have to be addressed immediately.

5.0 Inspection, Testing and Commissioning Proposal

- N/A as this is just the demolition work

- Layout plan level 1 & level 2 for CSA demolition work.
