Twistlock
The overheight frame twistlock acts as an extension of the
spreader twistlock. Both spreader and overheight frame twist-
locks unlock and lock simultaneously.

Storage fixture
To pick up the OSR 45 from the storage fixture, land the
spreader on the OSR 45. When the spreader twistlocks are
locked and unlocked, the latches on the OSR 45 will lock
onto the spreader lugs. At the same time a plunger will
protrude into a hole in the OSR 45 legs. This plunger will
prevent the latches from opening, while handling cargo. Be
sure the plungers are in locked position while handling cargo.

4. Start-up procedures
4.1.2 Preparations

● Spanner NV 17 (M10).
● Spanner NV 19 (M12) + extension socket.
● Spanner NV 24 (M16) + extension socket.
● Spanner NV 30 (M20) + extension socket.

5. Handling instructions
5.1 Warnings

Land on the cargo. Lock the twistlocks. The spreader twistlocks lock to the OSR 45 and the OSR 45 twistlocks lock to the cargo.

The push rods are pressed upwards releasing the plunger and releasing the latching arms from the spreader lugs.

After landing, lock the twistlocks. The spreader twistlocks lock to the OSR45 and the OSR45 twistlocks lock to the storage fixture.
The latching arms are still locked but there is a clearance between the latching arms and the spreader lugs.

6. Maintenance
To ensure safe and reliable operation it is important to per-
form regular maintenance procedures.
After 3 months
1 Inspect the overheight frame and storage f xture for visible
damage.

1 Perform the service points as in sections above.

Glide plates
● Expand to maximum position and apply grease on top and
bottom sides of the telescoping beams.
For mild surfaces (lower hardness than 200 HB), use washer
under both bolt head and nut. As an alternative, f ange bolt or
f ange nut can be used.

7. Spare parts

Registered user
To be able to log in to the Bromma e-commerce site you must
be a registered user. To become a registered user you have to
fill in the Application Form on the Bromma website. After
a few days you will receive a User ID and a password by e-
mail.

All returned parts must be properly packed. Bromma does not
