Introduction:
The proposed research topic aims to investigate the impact of rounded corners on occupants'
experience in interior design. Although the psychological impact of shapes on user experience is a
well-researched area in product and graphic design, the effect of rounded corners in interior design
has not been empirically addressed in the literature. This section also outlines the research
objectives and hypothesis.
Methodology:
To collect empirical data, a protocol analysis will be conducted to investigate the effect of rounded
corners on occupants' perception of room dimensions. The study will use a combination of
quantitative and qualitative methods, including interviews and observational studies, to collect
data from participants. This section provides a detailed description of the research design, data
collection methods, and data analysis techniques.
Findings:
The data collected from the protocol analysis will be analyzed using statistical methods to
determine if there is a significant difference in the participants' estimation of room dimensions
between the two rooms. This section presents the results of the study and discusses the findings.

The findings of this research provide evidence-based guidelines for incorporating rounded corners
