All players would be asked a question. There are four
tree posts (from the group) that would act as
choices. They would go to the best choice that
corresponds with the question. Whoever is the 4
remaining players would have a very SPECIAL round.

Achieving global average

degrees Celsius requires nations
to eliminate their FOSSIL FUEL

continue TO PLAGUE our world.

CLIMATE DEBT
This purports that the rich countries

emissions have used more than their
fair share of atmospheric space and
are responsible for the destruction
of the earth.

CLIMATE DEBT IS GROUNDED IN

THE IDEALS OF CLIMATE JUSTICE.
CLIMATE DEBT
“Hence, those who have the most responsibility for greenhouse gas
emissions and most capacity to act must cut emissions first. In
addition, those who have benefited and still benefit from emissions in
the form of ongoing economic development and increased wealth,
mainly in industrialized countries, have an ethical obligation to share
benefits with those who are today suffering from the effects of these
emissions, mainly vulnerable people in developing countries. People
in low-income countries must have access to opportunities to adapt
to the impacts of climate change and embrace low-carbon
development to avoid future environmental damage”
- (MRFCJ, n.d.)
ENVIRONMENTAL
LAWS
Republic Act 9152: National Environmental
Awareness and Education Act of 2008 SECTION 4.

All awareness and programs about the

environment that are under RA 9163 will be
included in what will be taught to NSTP students
(especially for CWTS) by CHED and TESDA.

This is required for all baccalaureate degree

courses and vocational courses with a
curriculum of at least two (2) years.
Republic Act 9003: Ecological Solid Waste

CLIMATE JUSTICE
Principles of Climate Justice
Climate Justice links human rights and
development to achieve a human-centered
approach, safeguarding the rights of the
most vulnerable and sharing the burdens and
benefits of climate change and its resolution
equitably and fairly.
Support the Right to Development

Resource inequality, a major injustice both

globally and within countries, worsened by
climate change, yet offers a chance for
every community to be interdependent
towards sustainable development.
Share Benefits and Burdens Equitably

Fair allocation of climate change

responsibilities and benefits is key,
with those most responsible for
emissions and capable of action
leading in reduction efforts.
Highlight Gender Equality and Equity

Emphasize the gender aspect of climate change

and justice. The impacts of climate change are
different for women and men. Women shall be
heard as they bear the most burden and can
act a vital role in communities for development

countries.
Summary
Climate change refers to long-term alterations in temperature,
precipitation, and other atmospheric conditions on Earth.

All countries suffer from climate change. However not all gets
the benefit or the chance to develop their environmental status
of living.

There are laws that have been enacted in the country to not only
protect, but also develop the environmental preservation and
protection.

There are three principles for a climate justice: support the right
to development, share benefits and burden equitably, and
highlight gender equality and equity.

TOGETHER TO EXPERIENCE A
GREENER WORLD!
