The effect of different FFJ (Fermented Fruit Juice) concentration
levels was assessed by assessing pechay growth and yield in terms of width of pechay, weight of pechay, height of pechay, and number of leaves in the pechay. After the 4 weeks (28 days) of applying different concentrations of Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ) in the Pechay, Growth and Yield of Pechay the results shows that Treatment (?) (? mL Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ) + 200 mL clean water) has the highest average mean of plant height (? cm), plant width (? cm), number of leaves (?), weight of the plant (? g). Two of the most important ingredients to produce Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ) is dark brown sugar and watermelon peelings, these ingredients help with moisture, watermelon rinds that contains green mater which contains nitrogen, magnesium and vitamins. Through drenching more Fermented Fruit Juice to the soil, this fertilizer allows plants to improve their health and helps them grow vigorously. The central role of citrulline as a molecular modulator for carbon and nitrogen integration into the urea cycle has been demonstrated in photosynthetic marine diatoms (Allen et al., 2011). Citrulline has also been suggested to play a role in facilitating nitrogen assimilation, endogenous nitrogen storage, and transport in higher plants (Reuter, 1961; Ludwig, 1993).
According to many articles obtained from various sources, it can
be related to the properties of FFJ in which it is abundant in nutrients such as nitrogen, calcium, potassium, and phosphorus. The Fermented Fruit Juice (FFJ) works by returning nutrients to the soil, supplying the pechay with the nutrients it needs.
