The Purchase Department, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB) invites SEALED quotations for the aforesaid services
under the terms and conditions mentioned below:
Terms & Conditions:

1. The SEALED quotation will be sent to the Purchase Department (Room-2031), at Plot-16, Block-B, Aftabuddin

Ahamed Road, Bashundhara, Dhaka- by Thursday, 26 October 2023, before 3:00 PM.

2. The total quoted amount should be expressed in round figure (Taka) and inclusive of VAT (15%) or any other
applicable Govt. Tax.

3. The University authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the quantity of the items and accept or reject any
quotation without assigning any reasons whatsoever.

4. The service providers are requested to quote a special discounted price for the above-mentioned services
considering the convocation a special event for a university.

5. The quotation should include all kinds of expenses relating to carrying and associated operating costs.

6. All works should be completed as per instruction of the concerned department of IUB.

7. Vendor with valid working experience with university ceremonial convocation program in AV systems; will be given
preference.

8. Any previous work in the BBCFEC will be given priority.

9. The quality of the aforesaid materials & services (LED wall display panel, sound system, lighting system, live
streaming, etc.) has to be maintained strictly to the fullest satisfaction of the IUB management. Service
interruptions may lead to imposing penalty as per the discretion of IUB management.

10. Before sitting for the pre-bid meeting as well as submission of the bids, the vendor is requested to pay a visit to the
convocation site Bangabandhu Bangladesh-China Friendship Exhibition Center (BBCFEC) which is scheduled on

11. A Pre-Bid meeting will be held on at the meeting room of CITS on 25 October 2023 at 11:00 AM.

12. The Vendor will dismantle and remove all materials from the Site (IUB Campus) immediately after completion of the
Convocation Ceremony.

13. Final payment will be made within 30 (thirty) days from the date of submission of Final Bill after successful
completion of the Works.

 The vendor should submit complete offer for the work including VAT and Tax.
