ECE-B Late date for submission: 17.05.2023

Total marks: 10
Plate 6: Projection of lines:

1. Draw the projection of a line segment AB of length 80mm which is

parallel to VP and HP. The line is 50 mm in front of VP and 60mm above
HP.

2. Draw the projection of a line segment CD of length 70mm which is

parallel to VP and inclined 30 degrees to HP. Point C is 50 mm in front of
VP and 70mm above HP.

3. Draw the projection of a line segment EF of length 80mm which is

parallel to HP and inclined 40 degrees to VP. Point E is 50 mm in front of
VP and 70mm above HP.

4. Draw the projection of a line segment GH of length 50mm which is

inclined 30 degrees to HP and inclined 40 degrees to VP. Point G is 60
mm in front of VP and 80mm above HP using the Conventional method.

5. Top view of 80mm long line AB measures 55mm while the length of its
front view is 70mm. It’s one end is 15mm above the HP and 15mm in
front of the VP. Draw its projection and determine its inclination with HP
and VP using the Conventional method.

6. The end A of line AB is 10mm above HP and 15mm in front of VP while

the other end B is 50mm above HP and 65mm in front of VP. The
distance between the end projector of a line is 60mm. Draw the projection
of the line, and determine its true length and inclination of line with HP
and VP using the Conventional method.

7. Draw the projection of a line segment GH of length 50mm which is

inclined 30 degrees to HP and inclined 40 degrees to VP. Point G is 60
mm in front of VP and 80mm above HP using the Cone method.
