Let’s make...

Su la’s Wi ng s
You will need: Instructions:

• The wings template Step 8. Keeping the wings folded, thread the elastic
• Glue (Pritt Stick or PVA) ribbon through both holes creating a loop
and then tie the ends together in a knot.
• Safety scissors
• Elastic ribbon Step 9. You can now unfold the paper to reveal
your beautiful fairy wings…
• Anything you like to decorate
your wings!
• Hole punch It’s time to make some
sparkle magic!
Step 1. Cut out each of the fairy wings from our
template.
Step 2. Take a separate piece of paper and cut out
two squares about 6 x 6cm each.
Step 3. Lay the two wings side by side with the
straight edges facing each other and
overlapping just a bit.
Step 4. Paste glue on one side of one of the paper
squares and stick it down in the middle of the
wings, so that they are held together.
Step 5. Flip the wings over and stick the other
square of paper in the same position, on the
other side. Once the glue has dried, your two
wings should be firmly attached and ready
for decorating!
Step 6. Now your Bingster can decorate the wings
to add some extra special fairy magic! You
could try adding glitter or sequins or use
gold
and silver pens for some extra sparkle.
Step 7. When your Bingster has finished decorating,
fold the wings in half. Use a hole punch to
make two holes along the folded edge of the
wings. The holes need to come in about a
centimeter away from where the wings fold.
