Chapter III

METHODOLOGY

This chapter introduces the research methodology. This part contains the materials,

process, conceptual framework and the documentation of this research experiment.

Components:
• Participants/Volunteers
• Bedroom/a place of sleep
Materials:
• Snake plants
• Pot for the plant
• Mosquito Coils
• Lighter/Matchbox
• Bed
Procedure:
1. Gather all of the necessary materials and components for the intended experiment.

2. At night, make the participants/volunteers enter their bedroom with a snake plant.

3. After sleeping through the night, on the next day ask them their comfortability

(ranging from 1-10) based on how well they slept and ask if they were bitten by

mosquitoes.

4. In the next night, make the participants/volunteers enter their bedroom with a lit

mosquito coil.

5. After sleeping through the night once more, on the next day ask them the same

question, how was their comfortability and ask if they were bitten by mosquitoes.
6. Lastly, compare the data that have been obtained with each other.
