ADVANCED ROVER WITH SECURE

COMMUNICATION THROUGH LI-FI


TOPIC
Space technology and communication.

OBJECTIVE
To improve scientific exploration and secure communication in affordable way.

INTRODUCTION
Scientific exploration has come a long as the new technologies are emerging across the world, that
can be space or places where human access is impossible. Rovers are the part of this emerging
technology. But the problem with these they are not cost effective. There are also chances for the
confidential information for the for other illegal activities. In order to solve this problem, we have
created a model that empathizes a cost-effective rover with secured communication through light
fidelity technology

COMPONENTS USED
1) Arduino UNO
For management of the system.

2) Two motors and wheels


For the movement of the rover.

3) L298 driver
For the better controlling of the motors.

4) Humidity sensor
To detect the humidity for exploring the condition of the place.

5) Temperature sensor
To detect the temperature of the place for exploration.

6) Bluetooth module
For controlling the rover wirelessly.

7) LCD display
For displaying the temperature and humidity.

8) Laser
A light source for transferring the signal.

9) Solar panels
To receive the signals, form the light source.
10)Speakers
Output the signals received.

11)Aux cables
For connecting the solar panel and the speaker and rover’s interface AI to laser.

12)Batteries
To power up the system.

13)A few jumpers wire and Resisters


For connections.

Circuit Explanation
The rover has lcd display and driver which is connected to digital pins of the Arduino and sensors are
connected to analog pins to read the data. Bluetooth module is connected to the receiver pins. The
other pins of some components are connected to specific pins of the Arduino.in the li-fi the interface
is connected to an aux cable and that aux cable is connected to the laser a battery is used to boost
the signals of the laser.in the receiver part the solar panel is connected to the speaker.

The rover will explore the conditions of the environment it is in with the help of sensors placed in the
rover. The humidity, temperature, climate soil type, existence of water and life etc. can be known
through rover in any conditions like in space and other. If the rover detects any confidential or
extraordinary thing the AI present in the rover to communicate with the stations in the earth through
the satellite using the light fidelity communication system which is secure and fast.it is also very hard
to intersect the light where the path is inviable to naked eyes.

FUTURE ADVANCEMENT
We can make the light communication encrypted. The rover could be modified into all conditions
proof for universality to make it more cost effective. The communication system could be made more
efficient.
