HABITAT FOR HUMANITY KENYA AGREEMENT FOR TRANSPORTATION OF

CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, TOOLS AND WATER SUPPLY

OWNER, shall cover all work referred to within this agreement hereinafter referred to as the WORK.

IT IS MUTUALLY AGREED

A) SCOPE OF USE

The Vehicle Owner shall provide the vehicle with a driver. The vehicle will be used in accordance to the
transportation plan shared by the HFHK field staff. The work to be carried out under this AGREEMENT
comprises;

 Transportation of materials (Ballast) from …………………………..to……………………………..
 Water distribution to the construction sites in…………………………………………………………
 Transportation of tools and equipment’s from the sites to…………………………………………….

The approximate distance to various sites is as below;

B) SUPERVISION:

That the Vehicle owner agrees to work under the supervision of the Community project committee and HFHK
Community Development Officer, who will inspect the ongoing distribution of water and transportation of tools
and equipment’s at various construction sites within Rangwe(Kagan, Kochia and Gem).

C) RENTAL FEES

Renter will pay the owner Kshs……………………. per trip for transport of tools and equipment’s
from………………... to………………………. (Construction sites), Kshs…………………. per trip for
distribution of water to the sites in……………………………. (2,000 liters per trip) and Kshs………………….
for transportation of materials (Ballast) from……………………………………. to…………………………….
this amount constitutes both vehicle, driver and crew charges. The maximum usage for water shall be pegged at
6 trips per house (Max 12,000 per house).
D) SAFEGUARDING

HFHK strives to provide an environment free from sexual exploitation and abuse and harassment in all places
where relief and development programs are implemented. HFHK holds a zero-tolerance policy against sexual
exploitation and abuse and harassment. HFHK expects its employees to maintain high ethical standards, protect
organizational integrity and reputation, and ensure that HFHK work is carried out in honest and fair methods, in
alignment with the HFHK Code of Ethics, safeguarding and associated policies. Violations to stated policies will
be subject to corrective action up to and including termination of employment.

By signing this Agreement, the Social Mobilizer acknowledges that she has received good and valuable
consideration, agrees to all preceding conditions cited in this Agreement.
