Statement of Pupose

In the present competitive world, people sometimes go astray by chasing only success and
living some other life. The only way to lead a meaningful life is by finding your true interests.
Passion is something that makes the day exciting when we wake up, spark creativity in us,
and makes us feel afraid of failures. I did my schooling from Sri Chaitanya Techno School
and secured 10 CGPA. Post that, through extensive efforts combined with thorough
preparation I completed my UG Degree in BBA(Bachelor’s in Business Administration) from
Hyderabad School Of Business(Osmania University) and scored an aggregate of 94%
marks.
During my undergraduate, I found my true interest lies in Finance. As a teenager I would
often read through the profiles of successful entrepreneurs and top managers in leading
corporations. It clearly emphasised a strong majority of them started early in their business
careers and with a marked degree of focus.

When I was introduced to the core topics of the three year long UG program, it provided me
ample time to learn management. I acquired the fundamentals of financial management like
financial planning, accounting, banking, acquisitions and mergers.The program made me
provide an understanding of accounting practices, principles, finance in addition to specific
skills which include numerical skills, aptitude skills, communication skills, awareness
negotiation and persuasion skills. I was able to achieve milestones in my project work. One
of my project work was on Portfolio management at Aditya Birla Group Organization where
investing in securities made me balance the implementation of change initiatives and
maintenance of business as usual, while optimising return on investment. Overall, Financial
management gave me a holistic understanding of how the domestic and global financial
system works.

While the undergraduate program in BBA helped me gain a thorough understanding of basic
management and leadership skills, my desire to pursue my career in the finance domain
made me choose master’s. I believe that a master’s program would make my fundamentals
strong and expand my expertise in the financial career.

Though many universities are offering this program, I got impressed with the highly
experienced faculties and alumni that the university boasts. The course structure aligns with
my future goals of becoming a thorough industry professional and their focus on the overall
development of students will broaden my horizons and widen my perspective. Woxen
University is considered a prestigious and hugely respected campus among the industry
circles and draws top companies for on-campus recruitments.

Master’s degree in business administration at Woxen University will open the doors of life
changing and career making opportunities for me. I believe my knowledge will
be amply challenged enabling me to suramount them deftly. On graduating, I want to acquire
practical knowledge and experience possible for an individual to be an entrepreneur. I thus
entreat you to consider my application.
