The purpose of the work is to study the application of colorimetric measurements

in the conditions of a school chemical laboratory and to develop effective
pedagogical approaches to teaching colorimetric analysis in this environment.

2.
• Carrying out a theoretical analysis of colorimetric measurements, in particular
their nature, essence and content, determining their role and place in the context
of the school chemistry laboratory.
• Studying the state of practice of colorimetric measurements in school chemical
laboratories, both in Ukraine and abroad, and conducting a comparative analysis of
different approaches to teaching colorimetric analysis.
• Identifying specific problems that arise when using colorimetric measurements in
a school chemical laboratory and developing recommendations for solving these
problems.
• Development of pedagogical recommendations for teaching colorimetric analysis in
a school chemical laboratory, including teaching approaches, laboratory safety, and
evaluation of student learning outcomes.

That's all I can answer. The work consists of two sections, theoretical and
practical. Conclusions to the first section: This chapter analyzes the conceptual
basis of colorimetric measurements and their role in teaching chemistry in the
school chemistry laboratory. Colorimetric measurements provide valuable information
about light absorption and quantitative analysis, which are fundamental concepts in
the teaching of chemistry.
The section also presents a detailed structure of colorimetric research. It
describes step-by-step procedures, including sample preparation, selection of
appropriate reagents, and operation of the colorimetric equipment. By following
this structured approach, students acquire skills in experimental methods and
develop the systems thinking skills necessary for making measurements.
Conclusions to the second section:
In addition, the chapter recognizes factors that can potentially affect the
accuracy and reliability of colorimetric experiments. It highlights variables such
as temperature, concentration and pH and emphasizes the need for proper control and
measurement of these factors.
In addition, the chapter emphasizes the methods of comprehensive assessment of
students' learning outcomes. It recognizes the importance of assessing not only the
results of an experiment, but also students' understanding, application of
knowledge, and critical thinking skills. Assessment methods may include analysis of
the quality of data analysis, ability to draw meaningful conclusions, and
demonstration of research skills.
Therefore, this section contains a comprehensive basis for determining the place of
colorimetric measurements in school laboratories in the educational space.

In this section of the qualification work, various aspects related to the conduct
of colorimetric studies in school laboratories are discussed. It began with a
comparative analysis of the practices of Ukraine, the USA and Germany, highlighting
the similarities and differences in conducting colorimetric experiments. This
comparison provided valuable information about the different approaches used by
different educational systems.
Identifying problems and limitations in the use of colorimetric measurements in
school chemistry laboratories sheds light on the problems faced by teachers and
students when conducting these experiments. Among the key problems were
insufficient availability of specialized equipment, limited integration with other
disciplines, lack of standardization, and late updating of the literature.
Recognizing these challenges is critical to developing effective solutions.
Based on the analysis of problems and limitations, recommendations for improving
the use of colorimetric measurements in school chemical laboratories are
formulated. These recommendations cover a number of strategies, including
extracurricular activities, interdisciplinary integration, and the use of
multimedia technologies. By implementing these recommendations, teachers can
overcome identified problems.
It is important to note that the implementation of these recommendations should be
approached taking into account the specific educational context and resources
available in each individual school. Collaboration between educators, curriculum
development, provision of necessary equipment and materials, and professional
development opportunities are critical to the successful implementation of
colorimetric measurements in school laboratories. Nevertheless, there are
opportunities for the implementation of these recommendations at a more centralized
level of the education system of Ukraine, which would contribute to their
comprehensive implementation in educational practice.
