OBJECTIVES

TIME TEACHING AIDS PRE-LISTENING

30 minutes Computer, LCD, Ms Power Point, worksheets, checker game and hopscotch chart. 1. Teacher plays a song This Is The Way. Teacher asks pupils to listen to the song and do actions. 2. Teacher elicits new vocabulary by miming. Wet Use soap Scrub Rinse Wipe 3. Teacher introduces the topic to the pupils.

WHILE LISTENING

1. Teacher tells the pupils to listen to the same song repeatedly and do actions based to the song. 2. While listening to the song using the podcast, pupils are asked to play hopscotch in group. The pupils will take turn to hop to the picture mentioned by teacher. Example, teacher says, wet, then a pupil in each group hops to the picture. Recap the activity with other verbs such as, use soap, scrub, rinse and wipe.

POST LISTENING 1. Worksheet (checkers) are being distributed. (Find your way home) 2. Teacher gets feedback from the pupils.
