Q 1: Why has the poet given poem the title “Leisure”?


Ans: In this poem the poet says that man is spending very busy life. He does not have the time to
see the real beauty of this world. Therefore the poet has given his poem the title “Leisure”
because this spare time can allow a man to see the beauty of the world.

Q 2: When does life become poor?


Life becomes useless and poor when it full of worries and troubles and when we have no time to
enjoy the beauties of nature.

Q 3: For what do we not have time?


We do not have time to sit under the branches of trees, to see the streams full of stars, to see
beauty’s glance and to the see the dancing feet of the pretty lady.

Q 4: How do we react to Beauty’s glance?


We do not have time to turn and pay attention to Beauty’s glance. We do not response to the
pretty smile of the young beautiful woman.
