NARRATIVE REPORT OF OPLAN BALIK ESKWELA 2023-2024

School is the primary and best educative agency in society, it even ignited its commitment to deliver and
continue upholding quality education in this challenging time.

For the opening of the school year 2023-2024 the Burgos National High School participated in the
Oplan Balik Eskwela with the theme: “Bayanihan para sa Matatag na paaralan” in support to the
National School Opening Day Program of DepEd on August 29, 2023.

The teachers conducted the school opening day program simultaneous with the conduct of opening
classes program spearheaded by our Head Teacher -III Reynold R. Minguita ,participated by the
teachers, students, and parents. The aforementioned activity held at school started with the singing
of the National Anthem led by Mrs. Elvie T. Florentino, Teacher -I, which was immediately followed
by a short prayer led by Mrs. Grace B. Argana, Teacher –I.

The program continued with the Pledge to the Flag headed by Mrs. Metche D. Decoy, Teacher –
II, followed by the singing of the DepEd Hymn of Region 13 led by Mrs. Girlie Baclayo, Teacher -II.

Mrs. Josephine O. Salvacion Master Teacher –I, gave her opening remarks to formally open the school
year 2023 –2024. She highlighted the importance of bayanihan in school in order to provide quality
education for the learners. The teachers were also sufficed by Mrs. Lalane P. Arcena, Master Teacher-
I, as she instilled positivity and optimism in life despite the global crisis. She stressed out that in this
time of challenges, the indispensable role of the teachers is more valued and appreciated by the whole
community particularly the parents.

The program was enthusiastically presided by Mr. Reynold R. Minguita, as she immensely imparted her
drive and full commitment to the service for this school year. Moreover, he highlighted that all is
possible if the school community will work for hand in hand.

Mr. Daniel Saragoza, Teacher –II, concluded the program with a bible verse: Jeremiah 29:11 "For I know
the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you
hope and a future."
