DIVISION MAPPING FOR PROSPECTIVE ARABIC LANGUAGE AND

ISLAMIC VALUES EDUCATION (ALIVE) LEARNERS

All Others Concerned

1. To strengthen the Madrasah Education Program (MEP) implementation

and for the preparation for the SY 2022-2023, this office is requesting the
school administrators and teachers to gather and collect the numbers of
Muslim learners enrolled in the school.
2. To ensure that the Muslim children be given equal opportunity and access
to quality education imbued with Islamic values and positively contribute
to the ongoing peace process and to enhance educational development of
Filipino Muslims through the integration of Arabic Language and Islamic
Values Education (ALIVE) program in public and private schools.
3. Muslim learners are the prospective learners of Arabic Language and
Islamic Values Education (ALIVE) program.
4. Muslim learners are those who practice Islam as their religion. They could
be a born Muslim or a Balik-Islam (reverted).

5. Enclosed is the template/form to accomplish and to be submitted on or

before June 30, 2022.
6. All schools shall submit the report to determine the schools with Muslims
and without Muslim learners. If there were no enrolled Muslim learners
in your school, please indicate “No Muslim Learners Enrolled” in the
mapping form. The district shall compile the submitted forms of its schools
and submit to CID office through the Records Section. Please also send the
soft copy to email: arjay.callos@deped.gov.ph (by school).
7. Gathered data will be used for reaching out Muslim leaners, needs
analysis and advocacy activities.
8. Immediate dissemination of this memorandum is desired.
