Guidelines for submitting the practical file

 Students must attempt all questions.


 Students will take printout of the practical file and it will not be accepted by any other means/platform.
 The practical file should include the cover page titles “Practical file” (including name, class, sec,
rollno., subject), index, screen shots of the output window with important steps done.
 Practical file would be judged on the following criteria
 Content
 Creativity
 Presentation
 Originality
 The last date for the submission of the practical file (in stick file) is 31st October, 2023. After the due
date, the project will not be accepted and the students will get ‘zero’.

Practical File Questions

Q.1 Create a document in Writer/Word on self-management skills. (refer book of employability skills)
 2-3 pages document
 Use images relevant to topic
 Add borders and background colour
 Use shapes and symbols
 Apply different text formatting options
 Add header/footer

Q.2 Create a presentation in Impress/PowerPoint on different types of communication, their advantages and
disadvantages. (refer book of employability skills)
 Create six slides (including title slide)
 Insert tables, shapes, pictures
Q.3Consider a mathematical function, such as Y=3*X+1. Calculate the value of Y for each even value of X,
as given in the table below (refer to pg. no. 129 in IT study material).

(a) Enter these values in Calc/Excel worksheet


(b) Use formula to find out the values of Y for each even value of X. Paste screenshot with formula applied in
sheet also.
(c) Plot a column chart of X and Y values together
(d) Format the chart as per your choice

Q4. Create a poster in word processing software (WORD/WRITER) on the topic “G-20 Summit 2023” with
appropriate slogan.
Poster should be of one page which include shapes, pictures, symbols, word art and text formatting features to
create an illustrative and attractive poster.

Q 5. Create the following data in spreadsheet

Do the following on above data:


(a) Calculate Sum, Average for each child in column H and column I respectively.
(b) Format given data by changing font colour, background colour, borders.
(c) Plot Bar chart on the given data and format the chart as per your choice.
(d) Rename sheet as “Result”.
