Din goes to play with his friends at the Taman Harimau Park. He rides his bicycle there. The bicycle
tyre burst at the road near the park.

Din pushes his bicycle to the bicycle shop. He asks Uncle Chong to change the punctured bicycle tyre
in his shop. He waits and drinks water behind him..

Uncle Chong quickly fixes a new tyre on the bicycle. He pumps air into the new tyre. Din pays and
says thank you to him.

Last Saturday, Din wanted to go play with his friends at the Taman Harimau Park. A while later he
rode his bicycle there. Suddenly, the tyre of the bicycle burst by the roadside.

Immediately Din pushed his bicycle to Uncle Lim’s bicycle shop. Once there he asked Uncle Lim to
repair the tyre of his bicycle. While waiting, Din drank a box of juice behind Uncle Lim.

A while later Uncle Lim changed the punctured tyre on the bicycle. Then he pumped air into the new
tyre. After all the repairs were done Din paid and thanked Uncle Lim for his work.

For mid-level pupils

Last weekend Din felt like playing with his friends. Immediately he took out his bicycle and rode it to
Taman Harimau Park. All of a sudden the front tyre burst and Din almost fell to the ground.

Din pushed the bicycle to Uncle Tan’s bicycle store. On arrival, Uncle Tan just smiled and began his
work on the bicycle. While waiting, Din drank water and watched the repairs being made.

Uncle Tan replaced the punctured tyre of the bicycle. He then inflated and checked the new tyre.
After everything was done Din paid and thanked Uncle Tan for his work.

For advance pupils

Din decided to go play with his friends last Sunday morning. Without haste, he mounted his bicycle
and rode to the Taman Harimau Park. To his horror, the front tyre of the bicycle burst and he almost
fell to the ground.

Upon regaining his composure, Din pushed his bicycle to Uncle Goh’s bicycle shop for repairs. Once
there, there was nothing for him to do except to take a step back, wait and drink some water.

Within minutes everything was done. Feeling relieved Din paid for the repairs. He thanked Uncle
Goh for his speedy work and went on his way.
