Vision

Goals of the College.


1. To provide excellent educational services in the field of arts and sciences.
2. To provide the industries and institutions with highly competent human resource along the fields of arts and sciences leading to the sustainable development of the
community.
3. To generate and disseminate science and arts innovations towards an empowered community.

Objectives of the Program. (Except For GE Subjects)


1. To develop effective social workers committed to serve and uphold social justice through a comprehensive sustainable development approach;
2. To establish participative helping relationship which empower stakeholders to attain quality standards of life; and
3. To develop innovative social work practice to address and transform social iniquities.

At the end of the semester, the students are expected to:


1. Be familiar with the purpose, objectives, components of the NSTP
2. Determine the objectives and the thrust of CWTS areas as a component of NSTP
3. Show understanding of and appreciation of the STET as a program for youth development
4. Demonstrate capability to live in accordance with the truth at all times Work together as a potent resource group in the service of the community
5. Develop harmonious working relationship with the community.

Course Title Civic Welfare Training Service 1
Course Description The CWTS as a component of the NSTP is a course for first year students both male and female designed to help them understand,
appreciate and eventually live by the basic concepts of the students' transformation and enrichment for truth (STET) with the end in
view of empowering them in becoming a potential resource for community immersion.

There are at least 10-30 items of Pre-test and Post-test and a set of worksheets that equivalents to 30 – 100 points. Students are required to answer the above-mentioned
items.

• Teacher Virtual Office (VO) Forum (Group Chat)


This forum is where students can ask the instructor questions about the course, and also where the professor will post news, updates and course announcements. Check this
forum often.

• Major Examination
The Major Examinations takes place following the completion of all modules of work allocated for Midterm and Finals. It consists of questions similar (but not the same) as
the pre-test and post-test, covering the modules for each term. The question formats will include: multiple choice, true/false, matching, and fill-in the blank.
