Tanti Dal Leader Arrested

A team from the capital's Kafrul police station arrested two people including Jatiyatabadi
Tanti Dal central committee convener Abul Kamal Azad from the Shewrapa area around
10:30pm on Tuesday.

Another detainee was Anisul Haque alias Lulu, whose details were immediately
unavailable.

Kafrul police station officer-in-charge (OC) Faruqul Alam told Prothom Alo the duo was
arrested as the suspects in a case that was filed over hurting religious sentiment in
February this year.

Police will produce them to the court on Wednesday, he added.
