FIRST THREE MONTHS

FIRST 15 TO 20 DAYS:
Learn and understand the syllabus by heart. Read PYQ to understand the pattern of paper and exams.
Try to figure out the aspects of prelims and mains.
 NCERT
Do notes making in the second or third reading.
 Optional
Choose optional wisely, don’t study it during this time.
 Avoid Newspaper reading
It’ll consume a lot of time so focus on the other aspects.
 Reference Books
Buy and study one reference book for each GS subject.

NEXT THREE MONTHS

 2nd reading of NCERT

 Complete optional
 Start Newspaper – 1 to 1.5 hours
 Notes making for newspaper, history and other subjects you find difficult.

NEXT THREE MONTHS

 Ethics
 Essay – content and presentation
 Answer writing
 Current Affairs – one newspaper and one magazine

NEXT THREE MONTHS

 Start objectifying things – start considering concepts of history, etc. as per how they can be asked in
the prelims and mains.
 Test series
 Revision
 Current Affairs

For GS 2 & GS 3 make use of CA for writing answers.
