game is played mostly by girls inside or
outside their house.

rope, the next player will take turns with the loser will be the
one to swing the rope.

MECHANICS OF LUKSONG LUBID
● The objective is for an individual or team to score highest in
skipping or jumping over the rope while it is being turned
continuously over the head and under the feet of players. The
two ends of the rope are held and turned over by two people.
MECHANICS OF LUKSONG LUBID
● Two people will hold the end of the rope. While the rest of the
people will fall in a single line. One person must go first then
all of the people must follow what the first person did. They
should keep jumping until the song ends.

● Players are divided into two or more teams, with a minimum
number of two members per team. Each team also has its own
team leader, more commonly known as the “Mother”.

● For two players, a three-meter long rope is needed. The “It”
stands in one place holding both ends of the rope with his left
and right hand. He rotates both his arms counter-clockwise,
causing the rope to turn full circle, as he jumps and skips over
the rope alternately with his right and left foot. When the rope
is above the head of the “It” and jumps in rhythm with the “It”.
The two players exchange roles when either of them steps on
the rope.
