Port operations in all regions continue to run optimally There have been increased reports of capacity and
without any major interruptions. At this time, Shippers drivers exiting the market, and that is one of the items

ITS INSIDER ADVANTAGE FOR OCTOBER

We are sailing on smooth seas right now. Rates are low, capacity is plentiful, and operations for the most
part are in great shape. It is very rare in transportation to have this amount of time to focus on the future. Do
not be lulled into a false sense of security. Use this time to determine the health of your trucking capacity.
Review your network, find efficiency, and make changes to offset challenges endured in the post-pandemic
era. Reconsider how you book with ocean carriers and NVO’s and to where. Trucking providers, ocean
carriers, and partners in your supply chain have time to consult best paths forward in their respective fields–
take advantage of that. Rates are at the bottom now, so RFP activity in Q4 makes the most sense. In RFP,
don’t focus on the lowest rate but onboard and vet capacity that has a robust tech offering, creative chassis
and yard storage options, and creative design solutions.
