Starting Off
About this Manual
This manual is limited to the installation of and introduction to this
add-on. It is a supplement to the manual for the base game “OMSI 2
- The Omnibus Simulator”.Please read the manual for the main OMSI
game for descriptions and instructions about basic functions and
configurations. If clarification for the add-on is required, explicit
references to the OMSI manual are provided in this manual.
System Requirements
In order for the add-on Beijing to run as smoothly as possible, you
need the following:
• OMSI 2 – The Omnibus Simulator (min. Version 2.2.032)
• Operating system Windows 7 / 8 / 8.1 / 10
• Processor (CPU) 2.8 GHz
• RAM: 4 GB or more
• At least 4 GB free hard disk space
• Graphics card with at least 1024 MB RAM (DirectX 9.0c or
higher)
• Internet connection and Steam user account required.
Recommended requirements
• Processor (CPU) 3.2 GHz Quadcore
• Force Feedback steering wheel (best with 900°-rotation angle)

Installation
Please be sure to log in with administrator access before you start the
installation of „OMSl 2 Add-On BeijingCity“. To start the installation,
simply insert the DVD into your DVD drive or run the file you down-
loaded from your shop account. After you have chosen your preferred
language, the welcome screen will appear and you will be presented
with some important information, along with the license agreement.
Please read carefully.
The installation program will attempt to locate the correct path. If you

wish to install to another location, you will have to enter the correct
path for installation manually. In order to do this, click on
„Browse”and navigate to the correct path.
Before the installation program starts to copy the files onto your hard
disk, you will be presented with all the installation details.
The installation program will now copy all of the „OMSI 2 Add-On
BeijingCity“ files onto your hard disk. If you want to make any
changes or to install any updates for this program you will need the
DVD or the installation file from the download shop and your
registration key again.
Removal
In order to fully remove „OMSl 2 Add-On BeijingCity“, run Aerosoft-Laun-
cher. Find „Library“ and select „OMSl 2 Add-On BeijingCity“ in the
„Simulation“ category. Then the information about the Add-on will
appear. Please click on „Uninstall“ button to remove the program from
your hard disk.

Notes Credits / Acknowledgements

It is suggested to set the AI traffics to 1000 to get the authentic Development: Truck Driver
experience. Just like in real Beijing, the rush hours are in 7:00 - 9:00

and 17:00 - 19:00. However, you are advised to reduce the AI traffics

In some cases, you might need to have “4 GB Patch” installed if it

Known Issues Copyrights

The trolley pole sometimes could not adjust if it reaches to a certain
height. You might need to do it one more time.
For players who already have 4 GB Patch installed: Please reload the
map by selecting Load the map without buses if the texture is still
missing or the game does not respond (near Dafosi and Wangfujing).
This software, the manual, documentation, video images, and all the

on one computer for your personal, non-commercial use. The

Line 104: 4:50am - 11:00pm
Welcome to Beijing! Here is one of the most prosperous cities in
People’s Republic of China. In this add-on, you will drive the line 104 Line 104 Qujian: 3:30pm - 8:50pm
through authentic streets in Beijing, comprises cultural buildings
known as Hutong and teeming areas like downtown, parks or
residential areas. You will enjoy your driving either in rush hour or in

The Bus
104 passes through many renowned streets primarily in Dongcheng
district, for instance, Hutongs, Wangfujing Street, National Art
Museum of China, Beijing Station, etc.

Line 104: You will find an Eagle-eye trolley bus included, which is a realistic
model for WG120FK that is still in service in Beijing. It wasn’t first

Operation The following format is for your review to input a plate number when
you choose the vehicle:
Format: Short letter + Any Capital letter + . + Five figures mixed with
digits and letters
Chinese 92-Style Plate
For example:

Dashboard Air Condition System

The display in the dashboard shows various information regarding the
current state of operation of the vehicle.
AC panel is on left top of the driver’s cab. Current temperature is

IBIS 3. Once you entered the menu, tap the ’IBIS SYS’ and press
confirm button to enter the input page.

4. On this page, the selected input box will show in green. Press

Press F1 - F8 to play voice reminders for passengers or pedestrians. The pole is adjustable if you drag it.

Brighter Night Sky 在开始时

The night sky in real Beijing is normally lighted up by street lights.
Thus, a night sky texture is provided for better feeling. You can find it
at Texture folder. It will take effect if you rename it from himmel05Ci- 关于本手册
tyNightSky.bmp to himmel05.bmp. Please note to make a backup.

本插件内配备一部“鹰眼造型”的无轨电车，从2015年开始分两批

在选择车辆的界面内，配属一栏输入车号即可，
仪表盘
输入格式为：简称字母 + 大写字母 + . +五位的数字和大写字母混搭
例如：

如果为空将以默认 京A.T****的格式载入游戏

仪表盘中的显示屏显示有关车辆当前运行状态的各种信息。

空调系统 报站器

空调面板位于驾驶室左上方，中间最大的数字是空调当前温度，模
式灯全灭时为送风模式。

IBIS输入步骤：
1. 接通电源后显示欢迎页
2. 等待5秒进入主页后，点击左右按钮切换功能，切换至 ’菜
单’ 位置点击确定按钮

3. 进入菜单页面后，选中 ’IBIS系统’ 点击确定按钮进入IBIS

输入页面
8键服务用语
按下F1~F8按钮播放服务用语，来对乘客或路人做出提醒。

4. 进入页面后，选中栏会默认出现在LINE选项内且呈现绿色，
点击确定按钮呼出输入模式，此时点击数字按钮输入数字，
按返回按钮退格。其他两项操作模式与LINE相同

F2 文明乘车 F6 道路拥堵
F3 提示拥挤 F7 注意安全（外报）
F4 提示自觉购票 F8 下车后注意安全

5. 输入完成后，点击上下键移动至 ’确定’ 选项上并点击确定 此功能根据hof中的[global_strings]字段，自动选择文件夹进行播

按钮即可录入IBIS数据。直接点击返回按钮则不保存直接返回 放，可自行添加您所在城市的服务用语。若hof没有此字段，将选择
上一级。若IBIS输入正确，则自动返回主界面，若输入IBIS错 Default文件夹进行播放。
误或不存在，将提示错误，等待3s后返回。使用方向按钮移 hof字段： [global_stings]
动至上一站/下一站，点击确定按钮可切换上一站/下一站

手动调整集电杆 更亮的夜空
拖动车顶的集电杆，可手动调整位置 实际城市的夜空会被路灯照亮，为了呈现此效果，本addon配备了
一张城市夜空贴图，路径在Texture\himmel05 CityNightSky.bmp ,
将此文件重命名为himmel05.bmp即可生效，注意备份原文件！

点击红圈模型：升杆/降杆
拖动蓝圈模型：上下调整集电杆

拖动红色区域(杆子尾部的集电轮)：左右调整集电杆
