You Prize Draw 2021

1. Prize draw open to The Royal Bank of Scotland plc (“RBS”) credit and/or debit card holders who received the qualifying
email, are aged 18 or over and are UK residents. Excludes Northern Ireland. Draw not open to employees of The NatWest
Group of companies, their families or anyone associated with this draw.
2. For entry, cardholders are required to opt-in by following the instructions in the qualifying email and complete a Qualifying
Purchase on an RBS credit card and/or debit card between 00:00 15th June and 23:59 31st July 2021 (Promotional
Period). A cardholder must opt in during the Promotional Period. Each Qualifying Purchase completed during the
Promotional Period counts as an entry into the prize draw. This includes purchases made during the Promotional Period
but before the cardholder opts into the prize draw. You will not be asked for your bank details at the point you opt-in to
the prize draw.
3. Qualifying Purchases are defined as goods and services bought using the credit and/or debit card or card account
number, excluding any gambling transactions. ATM and other non-ATM cash withdrawals, buying e-money or foreign
currency, money transfers, balance transfers and refunded transactions do not qualify as Qualifying Purchases.
4. No purchase necessary – If a cardholder who has received the promotional email, would like to participate without making
a purchase, the cardholder must mail their full name, date of birth, telephone number, email address, first line of address
and postcode to: FAO Max Fack, RE: Getting You Back to You Campaign, 250 Bishopsgate, Spitalfields, London, EC2M
4AA. This is only required if cardholders do not wish to make a purchase during the Promotional Period and all postal
entries should be received during the Promotional Period.
5. Entries not submitted in accordance with these rules, delayed, damaged, incomplete, altered, or illegible will be
disqualified. No responsibility is accepted for entries lost, delayed, or damaged in the post. Proof of posting or sending by
e-mail will not be accepted as proof of entry.
6. There are a total of sixteen prizes available for each prize draw across the NatWest Group. The winners and reserves list
will be drawn at random on 9th August 2021 and contacted by telephone and/or email within 14 days of the draw taking
place and awarded prizes in the order in which they are drawn as follows:
• Credit card prize draw: 1st prize £10,000 and 15 runners up prizes of £1,000.
• Debit card prize draw: 1st prize £10,000 and 15 runners up prizes of £1,000.
Cardholders with both credit and debit cards can enter both prize draws. Prizes cannot be transferred to another person.
The judge’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. If the cardholder holds an RBS current account, the prize will be paid into the cardholder’s current account. If the
cardholder does not have an RBS current account, a cheque for the prize amount will be sent to the customer by post or
the prize amount will be paid into a current account specified by the cardholder and in the cardholder’s name.
8. Entries will not count if the cardholder’s credit card or [current account associated with their debit card] is closed during
the Promotional Period. If a cardholder has more than one card only the Qualifying Purchases made from an account
that is open at the end of the Promotional Period will be entered into the prize draw.
9. The winners will have 7 calendar days from notification that they have won to confirm they wish to accept the prize.
10. If a prize is unclaimed after reasonable efforts have been made to contact the winner[s] the promoter will be entitled to
select an alternate winner from the reserve list.
11. The promoter reserves the right to publish or make available such information as is necessary to demonstrate that a valid
award took place including, if appropriate, the surname of the winners and copies of the winning entries. Information
about the winners will be available by sending a SAE to “Getting You Back to You Winner Prize Draw Promotion Winner
List” at the address given in condition 4.
12. If you live in Scotland, Scots law applies to this prize draw, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with
it. If you live elsewhere, English law applies. If there is a dispute between us, you can take action against us in any UK
court.
13. RBS reserves the right to alter, amend or close the prize draw without notice.

We will use the personal data you provide for the purposes of this Prize Draw only. In processing your personal data for this
purpose, we are pursuing our legitimate interest in promoting awareness of the bank and its products and services.
In the event you win, we may also use your personal data for the purposes of announcing the result and awarding and
providing the prize. We will not disclose your personal data to third parties.
