If the idea like Marshall Plan is implemented in many poor African countries, this
world would be a betterplace.
Do you agree or disagree to the statement?

Yes I agree. The "Marshall Plan for Africa," takes the name of the US aid package that started
recovery in Western Europe after World War II. The “Marshall Plan for Africa” program is
Chancellor Angela Merkel's important program to reduce the flow of refugees by better
allocating funds to finance humanitarian issues between Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

According to trtworld.com, this idea is considered good because it is working so well in

Western Europe. There is no doubt that the Marshall plan has a strong intellectual legacy.
Especially in the late 1940s to 1950s, large scale reconstruction efforts took place in western
Europe. What we call the World Bank is a collection of institutions, where we say the World
Bank is the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development which was founded in
1944 at the time of the Bretton Woods Conference to support a new world order after the
end of World WarII.

The key point of the Marshall Plan is the commitment made to openness and democratic
rule, and perhaps most important of all - a willingness to cooperate with one another.
According to German Development Minister Gerd Müller: “We need a paradigm shift, we
have to realize that Africa is not a continent with cheap commodities, but that African
people need infrastructure and afuture.”

Africa has enormous potential beyond abundant natural resources, cultural diversity, an
entrepreneurial spirit and innovative power. By 2035, Africa will have the world's largest
potential workforce.
