AIM & OBJECTIVES
NEED OF THE STUDY
Raja Park may be termed as planned residential from the master
plan 1991 of Jaipur,but because of the irregular and uncontrolled
growth of transformation from residential to commercial in the
settlement which leads as an issue which must be judged in relation
to the social and cultural aspects of the settlements.
INTRODUCTION
The traffic problem ,Building violation (both height and front
setback encroachments) and resultant environmental problems
etc. are some urgent issues that needs to be addressed.

Climate of Jaipur is semi arid climate (hot summers and mild winters)
Maximum Temperature during the summers (from april to july) reaches
around 43C.

The state does not experience much of rainy days.

LINKAGES TO CITY- JAIPUR
Jaipur is well linked by Roads,Railways and
Airways to the rest of the country.
The city lies on Delhi- Ahemdabad rail route
of Western Railways..Jaipur lies at a distance
of about 260 kms from Delhi,135 kms from
Ajmer,225 kms from Agra,245 kms from
Kota.The city is well connected by air with
its Airport at Sanganer.
THE JAIPUR CITY
Jaipur is the capital city of Rajasthan state.
Foundation of the city of Jaipur was laid by Sawai Jai Singh II in
November ,1727 as a new capital of Amber State.Most of the
physical development of this new capital took place before 1800
A.D .Jaipur state continued as a seperate entity for some time after
independence of India in 1947 and become a part of the present
Rajasthan state on 30th March 1949.
LOCATION - THE JAIPUR CITY
Jaipur city is located at 26 degrees and 54 minutes North
Latitude and 75 degrees and 49 minutes east Longitude.
Identification and delineation of study area .
Comparative analysis of previous development 1991 and
present scenario 2011 of the study area.
Site analysis indicating all physical features,infrastructure,
facilities and landscape features.
Layouts of buildings and roads.
Identification of Potential and problems of the study area.
To propose Policies guidelines and strategies of spatio -
economic development for the study area.
To study the residential area which is now changing with respect
to time into a commercial area.

The slope of the city is from north to south and then to south east.
The N.H.-8 and N.H. - 11
intersects at Jaipur and N.H -
12 leading to Jabalpur starts
from Jaipur.
