Mid-Term: (Passage 1)

Sons of Holy Mary Immaculate
Rheynan Carl O. Virador G-11

There is always some good or evil associated with every activity we

take. As a result, it is dependent upon our behavior (either good or bad) and
the direction of our behavior (either good or wicked). The option to choose a
good or bad path is entirely up to us. Getting closer to the good is the ultimate
goal of all human undertakings.
The latter is regarded as superior to the former and can take the form of
specific outcomes. In other words, while both results and actions can be
thought of as means, results are typically regarded as a higher, more
significant type of achievement. The end thus does not justify the means,
meaning every circumstance in life it thus not means that the action is done, it
means it’s end. But rather it must go beyond the end or surpass the limits of
the end, because all activities, works, and actions can go beyond it. We know
that all things have limits but it’s not the end, we can develop things that can
surpass or can go beyond everything in actions like skills, knowledge, and
strength if the others will aim for it.
According to the argument, there are several actions, arts, sciences, and each
has a unique final result. Because the latter are pursued for the benefit of the former,
the aims of the architectonic ones are valued more highly than those that fall under
them. It is also observed that, in terms of the hierarchy of goals, it makes no
difference whether an action’s final objective is the activity itself or something else
entirely. Although Science has an end, it does have information or wisdom to
create a thing that is impossible to reach, especially the limitation of all things.
. (Translated by W. D. Ross, BOOK I, Chapter 1) BOOK I
(BOOK I Chapter 2)
Everything we desire is also not the sake of this, we desire because we want
something to get or to achieve something. Choosing everything for the sake of our
desires cannot lead us into infinity, emptiness, and vain because we can continue to
desire for the things that we want in our life by choosing what is right or good.
4/Aristotle
Observe the things or materials first so that we can determine the capacity of
the things or objects to locate where it belongs like which nature it does belong.
Learning the sciences is important because we can identify what the causes are, and
to point the things out and to see the capacities of our economy.
