Objectives:

To enhance the participants with the entrepreneurial skills to provide a platform for students to sharpen their analytical and problem solving skills & to correlate

theoretical knowledge with real time practice of the company to make the participants understand about the root of the Company. To help the students in gaining first-hand

information regarding the functioning & production process of the industry. To enhance the knowledge and encourage the youngsters about the companies. To understand

the students regarding the process of TCP Limited, Koviloor.

This Industrial Visit was intended to apprehend participants with knowledge about the TCP Limited-Koviloor, Sivaganga. The company was incorporated on 8 June 1971

as a Joint Sector Unit with Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation Limited (TIDCO). The main purpose of the visit is to build confidence in youngsters and to

enhance their knowledge about the product. The participants have learnt about the kind of skills enhancement required in the networking and technology business field.

Interpretation:

Maximum number of the students found the Overall learning experience as “Good”.

Objective of the tour, i.e. to visit the TCP Limited-Koviloor, Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu and learn about new experiences was very fruitful. Students saw the work culture of the

TCP Limited-Koviloor, during their visit and learnt about how the hierarchical system works of that company. Maximum students showed a positive response when asked

about the virtual visit relevance to the Company.

Learning outcome:

Students have learnt about the TCP Limited-Koviloor, Sivaganga, which the company through R&D efforts developed three byproducts namely Sodium Formate Sodium

Sulphite and Sodium Thiosulphate which are marked through India. These products find application predominantly in paper and leather. Students have learnt about how

the company had established themselves. Students have analyzed the companies deeply and also learned a lot about consumer and company relationships. They had seen the

actual processing of production of the TCP Limited-Koviloor, Sivaganga, Tamil Nadu. The students understands the production system, storage system and warehousing &

logistics of TCP Limited-Koviloor, Sivaganga Tamil Nadu. The interaction with faculty and students went off amazingly. The students be fond of the industrial visit and

thankful to company and college to give up the kind opportunity to visit wonderful industry.
