UNIVERSITY OF CANTERBURY

MID TERM TEST 2015

Prescription Number(s): ENGR 102

Paper Title: Engineering Mechanics

Time allowed: 2 hours

Attempt all 5 questions.

Write your answers and workings in this booklet, hand in booklet at the end of the test.

Show your workings!

A significant part of marks will be given for workings.

Free body diagrams (FBD) are required for each problem and failure to include FBD will result in
loss of marks.

Three blank pages are provided at the end of the booklet.

Additional pages are available if necessary.

Use of a calculator is permitted.

No books, notes, etc. permitted.

You can use the provided formulae sheet (last page).
