AN EPISTILE TO INDIAN CHURCHES
From me, a devotee of Jesus Christ, by the will of God.
To the servants of God, both in India and abroad.
Grace to you from the god, and the lord Jesus Christ.
1. I am writing this epistle to you to keep away all the
drawbacks and evils existing in all denominations.
2. I give thanks to Jesus Christ who always praying
for you.
3. We are all living at the end of days as mentioned in
the revelation.
4. So we need to save all the souls by spreading the
gospel, before our lord Jesus Christ can come for
the second time into this world, for why I say
Maranatha. (1 Corinthians 16:22)
CULTURE AND TRADITION
5. The main characteristic of a Christian is to possess
the heart of Christ.
6. The word of God never stands against a country’s
culture and traditions that strongly bind the human
society and family system.
7. In Indian culture, Bindi, Bangles, Toe rings, Ear
rings and Manglasutra reflect marital status of
women.
8. The most disappointing is that some churches are
insisting women to give up wearing those by taking
the reference: 1 Timothy 2: 8-10.
9. This makes so many idol worshippers
misunderstand the word of God and reject Christ as
their savior.
10. In fact, the bible never spoke about not wearing
them.
11. Jesus Christ told us to change our old attitude to
new, but not our old disguise to new.
12. Most of the scriptures that mention jewelry—such
as Genesis 24:53; Song of Solomon 1:10; Isaiah
61:10; Ezekiel 16:12—indicate that proper,
balanced use is fine with God.
13. Exodus 33:5-6 says that god encourages us to
wear them as long as we have faith in him. Also
refer 1 Timothy 2:9-10
14. Women can wear them as a token of blessings
from god.
15. We can say that wearing jewelry is not a sin as long
as faith on God is good.
16. However if the passion on the things surpass the
faith on our lord, it can lead to committing sin.
REGARDING FAITH, HEALTH, WEALTH
17. A happy heart is good medicine. (Proverbs 17:22)
18. Faith in the word of god gives happiness, which in
turn gives half strength.
19. That half strength can build up courage to face or
overcome any minor health hazard.
20. Death that occurs by passing of age or by fatal
diseases is inevitable.
21. The faith in the word of god extends your life a little
more, but your fear can kill you a little earlier.
22. In financial crisis, faith in the word of god makes
you build a positive mind by keeping you away from
all depressions.
23. That will help you frame idea to overcome the
financial crisis.
24. Faith in lord does not help us escape from the hard
times, but gives us moral strength to win over them.
25. Whatever you ask our lord in the prayer, believe
that you receive them, and you will have them.
(Mark 11:24)
DEMOLITION OF IDOLS
26. God never told us to demolish the idols of today’s
non Christians.
27. It was commanded by God to Israelites who had to
conquer their own native place Canaan, the
Promised Land which was preoccupied by many
pagan tribes. (Deut 7:12; 20:16-18, Numbers 33:
51-56)
28. The commandment had validity only until the
Israelites reoccupy the Promised Land.
29. Now you have right neither to demolish the idols
nor to trouble festivals of non Christians.
OFFERINGS IN CHURCH
30. Offerings and tithing are major sources of income
for the church.
31. 1 Timothy 5: 18 says that the worker is worthy of
his wages.
32. Giving god’s message is a work.
33. Hence it is worthy to expect some income from the
devotees in the form of offerings and tithing.
34. Give freedom to the devotees in such a way that
they can give offerings and tithing at their will and
wish.
35. Do not give any piggy bank to the devotees telling
them drop the money in it at home.
36. It can make the devotees think badly about your
commercial aspect.
37. Your sincere and honest service will elevate the
height of your denomination by the grace of god.
38. Your focus on riches can send Jesus Christ out of
your church doors.
39. For why, Apostle Paul wrote an epistle to
Laodicean denomination, the richness of which
made Jesus knock the church doors. (Revelation
3:20)
55. Do not spread the gospel near to their worship
places.
56. In the name of spreading the gospel, do not cause
sound pollution or any public nuisance.
57. It is impossible to force a horse to eat grass. In the
same way, you can’t convert a person’s faith by
force or by offering any precious gifts. Give up such
practice.
58. In Mark 6:10-11, Jesus told us to leave the place
wherever the gospel is rejected.

FOOD OFFERED TO THE IDOLS PENTECOSTAL EXPERIENCE

40. Idols are nonliving things made by man.
41. They have no powers to decline your strong faith
on Jesus Christ. (Psalms 115:1-8)
42. Apostle Paul clarifies that nothing happens when
you accept food offered to the idols if your
conscience is not bothered. (1 Corinthians 10:28)
43. This attitude helps you to maintain wide range of
relationships with all in the modern society.
44. However you can reject such food if you are afraid
that it can decline your faith on Jesus Christ; in
other words if your conscience is bothered.
45. But this attitude may limit the range of your cordial
relationships with the society.
46. However all other things are insignificant when
compared to adopting the teachings of Christ
(Mathew 5, 6, 7 chapters) in life.
59. Spiritually, Pentecostal experience unites us
personally with Holy Spirit. (Acts 2:1-13)
60. Materially, it can create noisy environment, and can
cause physical injuries and health risks because of
rolling, jumping, shouting, convulsing, speaking in
tongues, etc.
61. As told in 1 John 4:1, we should be able to test the
spirits to see whether they are from God or not.
62. As the Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 14:3,4,
Pentecostal experience is wonderful if you can
interpret or explain meaning of tongues.
63. Hence adopting Pentecostal experience is left to
your discretion.
64. May the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you
all? Amen!

SPREAD OF GOSPEL

47. Spreading the gospel is the duty entrusted to us by

our lord. (Mark 16:15)
48. India is the only country that is the best example of
unity in diversity.
49. The major religion of this country is Hinduism, a
very complex religion without a founder.
50. Being polytheists, Hindus believe in Santana
dharma, the principles of which are honesty,
refraining from injuring living beings, purity,
goodwill, mercy, patience, forbearance, self-
restraint, generosity, and asceticism.
51. They believe that salvation is attained if Santana
dharma is practiced in life.
52. Hence spreading the gospel is a very sensitive
issue in the countries that practice polytheism.
53. Your controversial comment on other religions can
stir up religious frictions, and hence never criticize
the practices of idol worshipers.
54. Just spread the gospel without mentioning anything
related to other religions.
