1 OUTLINE THE MAJOR STEPS OF PHYLOSOPHICAL ANALYSIS

a) Clarification and definition:It starts by defining philosophical concept and identify ambiguous terms
and clarify their meaning

b) concept analysis:Analyses the concept associated with philosophical issue and break it down to its
constituent parts and look how they relate to each other.Explore cultural context to understand how
concepts have evolved over time.

c)Argumentation and Evaluation: Evaluate the arguments and positions relevant to the phylosophical
questions and uses the strength and weakness of this arguments consider object and respond to them
appropriately.

d) Synthesis and conclusion: Synthesize the insights gained for the previous steps to formulate an
argument

2.OF WHAT RELEVANCE IS THE PHENOMENOLOGICAL METHOD TO THE FOLLOWING

a)Teaching of science

i.understandi of students:In the context of teaching science,educators are able to have a better
understanding of students experience and scientific concepts.

ii) Exploring scientific concepts:It encourages deep exploration of individuals and shared
experiences.Can be valuable in helping the students grasp complex scientific ideas.
iii)Enhancing communication:Phenomenology can improve communication between teachers and
students

They get to Know how to interpret scientific information and adjust their teaching strategies

v)Improving curriculum design:PHENOMENOLOGICAL research can inform the development of science

b) Daily teacher's activities outside the classroom

I) Conflict resolution: When challenges arise outside the classroom PHENOMENOLOGICAL inquiry can
help teachers to approach them with deeper understanding.

reflect on their daily activities.

iii) Enhancing interaction: Teachers apply phenemologcal principles to be better understanding .The

SCHOOL.YOU ARE THE DEPUTY HEADTEACHER AND THE CHAIRPERSON OF THE DISCIPLINARY
COMMITTEE.WRITE DOWN A CRITICAL PLAN THAT WILL GUIDE TZHE DISCIPLINARY HEARING (12marks)

I)Pre-hearing Preparations

a)Set a date and time for the discplinary hearing ensuring it's convenient for all parties.
b)Notify Kevo of the hearing dates,time and the nature of accusations against him.

c) Identify the members of the discplinary committee which may include teachers, administration and
counselors .

d) Arrange for neutral and private location for the hearing.

ii) Evidence gathering

a) Collection all available evidence related to the case including witness statements,any confiscated
substances and any relevant surveillance footage.

b) Ensure the evidence chain of custody is maintained and documented.

iii) Notification and Representation

a) Inform Kevo of his right to have a representative such as a parent present during hearing.

b.Allow accusing party to present their case including presenting evidence and calling witnesses.

c) Provide Kevo with an opportunity to respond to the accusations and present his defense including
calling witnesses if desired.

d)Ensure all parties involved have a chance to question witness and cross examine the evidence

e) Maintain respectfull and professional atmosphere thought the hearing.

Iv) Deliberation

After all evidence and arguments have been presented , excuse Kevo and any witnesses from the room

The discplinary committee should deliberate in private to reach a fair and impartial decision based on
the evidence and testimony presented

V) Decision and Sanction

a) Reconvene with Kevo and his representative to announce the committee decision

b)If Kevo is found responsible , determine appropriate sanctions which may include suspensions,
counselling

c) Explain the reasons for the decision and Sanctions exposed

vi) Documentation
d) Document the entire process and maintain confidentiality of the records while adhering to any legal
requirements.

vii)Appeal process

Inform Kevo of of his right to appeal the decision and provide guidance on the appeal procedure if
applicable.

viii) Follow up support

Offer support and. counselling resources to Kevo to help him address underlying issues that may have
contributed to behaviour.

ix) Review and continuous improvement

Periodically review the discplinary process to identify any areas for improvement and ensure fairness
and transparency in future hearings.
