then, listen and see if your predictions were correct.

Look at the words below and with your partner try to predict what is the connection between each
of the things, then listen to the second section of the podcast and see if your ideas were correct.
Listen to the second part of the podcast again and decide if the statements are true or false. If they
are false, change them and make them true.

4. Do you think there are any other issues surrounding a plastic phone floating in the sea for over
30 years? What are they?
Look at the examples of natural language from the podcast with your partner and from the context
and try to guess the meaning of each one. To help you remember the expressions, have a chat with
your partner and use them to talk about your life.
