 WARM-UP GAME
1. Project title: Word Chain Challenge
2. Objectives: To improve vocabulary, pronunciation, and quick-thinking skills.
3. Level: Pre-intermediate
4. Ages /Age group: 16
5. Class time: 5’
6. Procedures:

- Divide the class into 2 groups. Each member in the group will take turns playing the game.
- Write words relate to the topic of the lesson on the board.
- Ask students to guess the topic
- Give students instruction:
a. The first student (you or a volunteer) says the topic related word out loud.
b. The next student must say a word that starts with the ending letter of the earlier word.
c. The game continues with each student saying a word that starts with the last letter of the previous
word.
d. If a student hesitates for too long or can't think of a word, they are out for that round.
e. The game continues until only one student remains or until everyone has had a turn.
