1.Confirmation Prior to Installation

tion, and tighten the screw.
(12) Turn the M5 lever to the original position.
(13) Reinstall the ADU unit to the original position,
and turn the ADU release lever to the locking
position.
(14) Close the front door (right) (left).
(15) Store the removed fusing unit.
Note:
• Be sure to store the removed fusing unit in
the packaging box so that dust does not
cover the unit.

6.Installation of the rear assist guides (5) Lock the duct locks. (2 places)
Install the rear assist guide/Up and the rear assist
guide/Lw when the envelopes of less than 140 mm
in the main scan direction are used.
(1) Pull out the tray/3 of the PF.
(2) Move the 2 guides to the position shown in the
picture, and remove the 4 screws.

(6) Install the rear assist guide/Lw.


Note:
Hit the rear assist guide/Lw to the gap of the
tray rear guide.

(3) Install the 4 positioning screws.


(The positioning screws are included in the main
body.)

(7) Install the rear assist guide/Up to the rear guide.

(4) Install the side assist guides (Fr)/(Rr).


(The side assist guides (Fr)/(Rr) are included in
the main body.)
