Report

The service learning projects given by the English education study program to 3rd
semester students have been completed by Class A PBI students. Service learning is an
activity for students in the English Language Teaching program. This activity aims to
improve students' ability to cooperate with the community and help them design worksheets
for good English teaching strategies. This service learning was carried out in a total of 4
schools, namely SMK 10 Nopember, MA Alif Laam Miim, MAU Amanatul Ummah, and SMA
Kertajaya.
These 4 schools each have different interview data results. Based on the data taken
from the 4 schools, the learning styles that are highly demanded by students are auditory
while those that are less demanded are visual and kinesthetic. The text type data from SMK
10 Nopember AKC 2 and AKC 3 grade 10 are descriptive and recount text, MA Alif Laam
Miim grade 10 and 11 are transactional and expository text, MAU Amanatul Ummah IPA and
IPS grade 10 are procedure and descriptive text, SMA Kertajaya IPA and IPS grade 12 are
recount text. The language component data owned by SMK 10 Nopember AKC 2 and AKC 3
grade 10 are present tense, adjective, past tense and adverb, MA Alif Laam Miim Grade 10
and 11 are future simple tense and vocabulary, MAU Amanatul Ummah IPA and IPS grade
10 are 4 common tenses and basic grammar, SMA Kertajaya IPA and IPS grade 12 are
present perfect tense & past tense. The learning abilities of students from the 4 schools are
mainly written and presenting, while reading and listening are least mastered. The learning
objectives and learning outcomes data from the 4 schools have similarities in writing,
identifying, presenting, and analyzing text types, but there are differences in comparison and
understanding between MA Alif Laam Miim and MAU Ammanatul Ummah.
The conclusion is that these 4 schools have differences and similarities in all aspects.
These 4 schools need LKPD to develop their English skills.
