I felt i was not lucky enough to hunt job in off campus. with a failure experience
i went back to chennai on March 5h. Two days later, i checked my email , got mail
from placement cell to come to university as they have arranged a campus interview.
I inquired with my friends plan. Most of them said as we had came recently to
chennai they were determined? how many of you say yes? How many of you say No?
Every Toastmasters meeting is a SMART Goal. Specific
(Simple,Sensible,Significant) ,
Measurable (meaningful, motivating), Acheivable (agreed, attainable),Relevant
(reasonable, realistic, results-based) , Time bound ( Time-based, time limited,
time-sensitive). I enjoy every meeting as it gives me many insights to imporve the
quality of my professional and personal life.

As a manager i noticed, generally people dont like feedback or advice. Even people
come and ask me what to do to improve performance. And i sincerely give them ideas
to improve performance, Guess what? They are not follwing it. People dont like feel
them sense of efficacy is lowered. When i give advice or feedback sometimes thats
what it feels like to them. Toastmasters taught me how to convert evaluation,
improvement points as positive comments and not as feedbacks.
----A senior manager who is membre not interested in attending the
small company interview. I am always happy going home, in that attitude i decided
to travel back saying this reason.
