While sleeping, our body releases proteins called
cytokines. Not only do these proteins help upgrade
the quality of sleep, but they are also vital in our
immune system. This is why sleeping is one of the
best ways to help your immune system fight off
diseases faster. This helps keep our body healthy.

WHen sleeping, the skin’s metabolic rate is


increased. THus, sleeping helps keep the
INTEGUMENTARY system healthy. This is why a good
night’s sleep is sometimes called “beauty sleep.”
THis is because you have energy available for
tissue repair while you’re sleeping. and, that
energy isn’t available during the daytime.
