What have you done to help the environment?

Students at Derwent Secondary School have started some exciting activities to protect and
improve their local environment. Read the school blog and find out what they have done.
We’ve cleaned up the pond in the center of our village. It’s a really pretty, old pond but people
have thrown a lot of trash in it recently. With the help of some friends, we’ve picked up all the
trash and pulled things out of the pond. There was an old tire and a supermarket basket in it!
