REPLACEMENT : FLEXIBLE ADDITIVE RESERVOIR

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness recommendations .

1. Removing

ESSENTIAL : Observe the safety and cleanliness instructions which are specific to high-pressure diesel injection engines (H.D.I.).

ESSENTIAL : Before carrying out any work, put on protective goggles and gloves which are resistant to hydrocarbons.

Put the vehicle on a hoist.

Disconnect the ancillaries battery.

Remove :
 The additive reservoir (3)
 The bolts (2)
 The cover (1)

Raise the additive metering pump (4).

Uncouple the pipe from the doser pump ( as "a").
Detach the empty flexible additive reservoir (5) from the positioning pin "b".
Remove the flexible additive reservoir (5).

2. Refitting

Couple the metering pump (4) to the flexible additive reservoir (5) ( as "a").
Position the metering pump (4) in the additive reservoir (3).

 CAUTION : Check the correct positioning of the flexible additive reservoir (5).

Refit :
 The cover (1)
 The bolts (2) ; Tighten to 1 ± 0,1 daN.m
 The additive reservoir (3)

CAUTION : Perform the operations that are required following a reconnection of the ancillaries battery.

Reconnect the ancillaries battery.

CAUTION : Reset the additive counters to zero ; Using the diagnostic tool.

CAUTION : Prime the fuel additive circuit ; Using the diagnostic tool.
