OUTLINE

This Service Bulletin provides service personnel with instructions for installing the FOPS guard.

Thoroughly read the safety section in the service manual before starting the work to ensure safe operation.
Welding work, if any, should only be done by qualified welders.

2 FOPS GUARD INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

1 Install guard 00 on the cab using bolts 01 (4 locations).

Bolt tightening torque: 243 ~ 297 N·m

(Pull out GPS antenna 03 from the hole in the guard before installation.)

2 Install grommet 02 on the bolt hole in guard 00 . Apply adhesives to the external surface of the grommet and make
sure to firmly attach it so that no water enters.

For adhesives, use Cemedine SUPER X No. 8008 or equivalent.

3 Install cover 04 on the location shown here. For the installation method, refer to the next page.
